I’ve had a few clip in ponytails before this one (purchased from local beauty supply stores). The ones I bought from beauty supply stores were always very tangly almost immediately and were super heavy/ tight on my head, which always gave me horrible headaches. I decided to give this one a chance and I am so happy I did ! It was soft and not tangled at all when I took it out of the package, it has a slight plasticy smell but that’s to be expected when you put synthetic hair in a plastic bag that is in the back of a hot delivery truck lol. The smell went away very shortly, and it was super easy to install. You just put your hair in a bun, slip the clip into the top of it, and tighten the string in the back. It does not feel too tight on my head at all, but still feels very secure. I like that it is very lightweight and comfortable to wear. The curls in it are very bouncy and look very natural. I will definitely be buying this same ponytail again, as synthetic ponytails aren’t meant to last forever and will need to be replaced when they start getting too tangly. 10 out of 10 if you’re looking for a new clip in ponytail, get this one !

This hair reminds me of the very soft, shiny, and pretty hair on Barbie dolls when they first come out of the package. The curl is super bouncy and seems to hold extremely well. I can't see the curls coming undone or softening on their own, unless someone does a heat or water treatment to get the hair to relax. VERY long and personally for me, unrealistically so. If I were keeping it I would cut off at least 1/3 of its length. After wearing it awhile, I could see it giving me a major headache, because after only 20 minutes I could feel with the weight of it and the comb digging into my scalp and it was a relief to take it off. I am returning because I do not like how, in order to attach this to my head, I have to wrap up and bobby pin my own hair out of sight and then rig up this extension over my matted-down bun. It is kind of an ingenious, simple design with a comb at the top and then a cinch cord at the bottom so that you can cinch it up taut, but I still felt I needed to bobby pin it down around the edges which did not feel good on my scalp. I think I will try the claw clip-on type that seems like it would be more easy clip-and-go. Additionally, just playing around with this hair, it was beginning to get frizzy and tangled (just like Barbie doll hair does once we play around with it.) The "brown" color however is very beautiful--it's actually a soft warm blonde/brown mix that is blended very nicely. It took my husband several minutes to even notice I had this thing on.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered 6H22 color. The color isn’t consistent, it’s darker on the top layer so no highlights except for underneath & toward the bottom of the pony, so you can’t see the highlights at the top of the pony. If the color was like the underside at the top side, it would have been great! There are other flaws like tiny shorter hairs poking out at the top, & it tangles from barely touching it, so I can’t imagine it will look very good after even putting it on let alone wearing it! The only positives are that this is actually as long and voluminous as the photos show, which is rare. Usually you order a pony online & it comes far thinner than the pics show-not this one, the volume is there & the length is there. I wish it didn’t tangle so easily b/c I otherwise would have just ordered another hoping the color was more consistent or try a different color! I’m exchanging mine for a replacement, hoping I get a better color consistency on the next one! I’ll review that one as well, to reflect if it tangles so badly from one wear that it may not be worth it at all! That would be a shame b/c before you touch it, the wave is so beautiful! I have a feeling it’s not going to look good even with one wear!

This hairpiece was absolutely gorgeous upon arrival, however; with as much hair as I have on my own head, this drawstring concept made it impossible to attach to my hair, so I had no option but to put the extension over a jaw clip. I put it on my own ponytail and it looked fantastic! I received so many compliments and no one thought it was not my own hair. So, the next day, I put it on and about an hour into the day, the hair extension started clumping together like it was ONE solid piece. I brushed it, it looked fine for a few minutes, then I saw the same clumping, like Barbie hair. Remember how our doll hair got when we were kids and we ended up cutting it off! ; Leaving our poor dolls with marine high and tight cuts!?! Well, this hair has the same look and feel after only 1 good wear.

After I clipped it in place it added so much weight to my hair. It was pretty uncomfortable. I even had my ponytail on the top of my head but it just pulled all night. Probably won’t wear it again. But! It was very good quality hair, it was secure, it worked as advertised. Just very heavy.
