This canopy is soft, gorgeous, and very long. I washed and dried mine (without the metal hoop) before installing it and that took all the wrinkles out. I hung it above the head of my daughter’s full sized bed because she wanted a tent and the bonus is it blocks her blinding night light! I used the adhesive medallion and hook it came with and then someone sat on the edge of the canopy pulling on the fabric and the hook broke off. I wasn’t able to peel the medallion off the ceiling to replace the hook without taking off the textured ceiling so I left it up there and used a hook I screwed into the stud which is what I should have done in the first place. It got sat on again and the stitching at the top opening popped a little. Treat it gently and you should be fine. Put it in a small child’s room and it may or may not make it intact. Still, looks just like the picture and really makes a lovely fantasy little tent. I’ll probably get one for my son too when he’s in a full size bed. ... show more

It looks like the pictures, it doesn’t block out the light completely but it does look nice. Not the strongest attachment point. It’s already ripped at the strings that attach to the ceiling mount.
