I ordered these to help me with close vision while awaiting additional eye surgery. I wanted something that was frameless on top so I could use it while watching television to also look down and read. They work perfectly. I can look down without them slipping off my nose, they are lightweight, and I enjoyed them so much that I ordered a second set of five and preposition them all over the house. I’ve also been pleased that the optical refraction of the lenses seems pretty accurate on all the pairs I ordered. They came in perfect condition and with small soft cases to carry them in. I need these for computer work, and they are nearly perfect for that use. The moulded nose bridge is comfortable, and the lens retention mechanism creates very little line-of-sight interference. I can wear them of many hours, almost without noticing. I have broken quite a few pairs; the lens retention cord breaks loose at some point, and no repair is practical. I ordered 3x magnification for reading cheeters. The lenses popped out on most of them but I was able to snap them both in with a little finesse, until the nylon wire broke. They were not very durable, and were very loose for my head, and tended to slip right off when looking down. I just wanted something I could leave in various locations, & not feel bad if they break or get misplaced, so given the price, it was an 'ok' purchase. I found other half-rims, that are at a similar price price point, that have been much more durable and fit much better, so I won't re-order these again. ... show more
