These are lovely curtains. True chocolate brown in color and completely blackout. People who say they aren't blackout don't understand the concept. No light shines THROUGH the curtains. If you don't want light to shine AROUND the curtains, you need to hang them on rods that allow them to curve to the wall and hang the rod close to the ceiling. There is no odor from the fabric. They are soft and truly a great quality, substantial fabric with textured weave. My windows face south west and receive strong afternoon sunlight. These pictures were taken within minutes of each other with the curtains both open and closed. You can see how strong the light is coming through the windows and how it looks with the curtains closed. I can't speak to the thermal quality of the curtains as the front and back both feel the same to me. There is no lining or coating to indicate if they are actually thermal or not. Doesn't matter. I love them and I'm so happy I didn't give much weight to the negative reviews. Also, yes, there are creases in them from them being folded in the packaging. I don't know how a person could expect there not to be. Given time, I imagine the creases will no longer be visible. I'm a happy customer and will not hesitate to purchase more when I need them.

I just moved into a place with a massive picture window in the living room with a track rod already installed. The window is 120” wide. I got curtain hooks and hung these curtains with ease and they look fantastic! They truly are blackout. They are thick and work great with track rods and hooks despite not being the typical pleated curtains! They have a clean, minimalist look. the price is very affordable for the size. The quality is more than I expected!

I ordered a couple of these for a room and they look nice. These do block light , but not blackout like stated. The material is thick, but I wish they had a backing to make them more thermal for the colder months. The backing would also help with blocking light.

I figured they’d thicker to keep the sun out but they are thin compared to other blackout curtains. I still got sunlight coming through them so I wouldn’t call them blackout curtains. More like regular curtains in my opinion. Other than that I think they are very nice and good material.

We just moved into a new house with a few large windows and I was so worried about the cost associated with hanging curtains. I ordered one of these to try and ended up ordering all the ones I needed. I got them in the color natural and I love how they look! The sizes are great, ours are the 108” with 9ft ceilings. There wasn’t much to pick from to use with a track system so I’m so happy to have found these. They were easy to install with the metal hooks. They are functional and are heavy weight. I have not tried washing them but I steamed them and I need to go through and steam again because of the weight the creases don’t come out easily.
