We renovated our condo bathroom over the summer and was so happy that this mirror gave us the modern look we were striving for. It is big enough to make our small bathroom feel larger and luxurious. It did require two people install it. The light on the brightest level was a lot brighter than we were expecting (which is great). No issues with the dehumidifier. Though about 2.5 months after installing it, we noticed the electrical humming behind the mirror when it was dimmed to its lowest setting. I reached out to the company, and to correct the issue they mailed us a new LED driver to replace on the back of the mirror. They even reimbursed us for the repair costs!     • Very difficult to install. Beware.

The mirrors, once installed, look good and perform well (time will tell on durability). The installation is brutal and savage. Here's why: Mounting is done by standard keyhole slots. Sounds simple, right? Not when there are four. The accuracy required to layout and install the four mounting screws is just not practical. I'm a contractor with quite a bit of skill, knowledge and experience and even using a laser for the layout, quickly realized there was no feasible way to get the four screws in the wall with maybe 1/16" fudge factor at best to install them. That's 1/64" per screw. Your pencil line is thicker than that. Solution: buy better anchors and only use the top two screws. These don't weigh that much so with good aftermarket drywall anchors, you're fine. Don't waste your time trying to use four screws. The electrical connection? Completely idiotic. These mirrors sit flush to the wall. The cord comes directly out the back. In an of itself, the actual cord precludes mounting the mirror to the wall. But let's move past that and talk about connecting the power. You can either hardwire or put a plug they include on the cord. Think about the logistics of this whole scenario. There's no recess in the back of the mirror. How's that plug going to work? Likewise how do you make a hardwire connection and get the wires into an electrical box behind the mirror so it sits flush to the wall. It is quite literally impossible as designed. The only way you can install these is to cut a big hole in the drywall big enough to stuff a single gang electrical box with a duplex outlet, plug the mirror in and then stuff the outlet box and the 12" of mirror cord into said hole, hang the mirror so the hole is covered. I feel dirty after hanging two of these in such a barbarian way but they are up. It is not a clean installation and the next homeowner who inherits this will think you are an idiot when they take the mirror down. This was my own home. I kept thinking that most electricians would quit and never come back if you asked them to install this mirror. I know mine would give me a " WTF kind of mirror did this lady buy? You can't wire this thing... " phone call. Also you need two people to hang these. Not a 1 person job. ... show more

**EDIT** read the below original review to understand my edit. I now give the product 5 stars for 2 reasons: 1- they have fixed the issue of program memory. meaning that if you had the light on and the defrost on when you hit the wall switch, next time you walk in the bathroom, the wall switch WIL turn light and defrost back on (previous version did not. 2 buttons process) 2- their customer service have gone above and beyond what my expectations were! they have reached out and made me aware that, at the time I placed my order, although the new version (memory function) was for sale, some of the old versions were still floating around Amazon warehouses. they offered me the option of a partial discount (due to missing function), or a brand new parcel. I went with the latter. the shipment was incredibly fast, and i am please to announce that my contractor was finally able to swing by and instal it (no professional installation needed, but since it was part of my house remodel, I'd rather not get my hands dirty if I don't have to :) ) furthermore, the support has taken into account my criticism with the position of the mounting holes, and he is going to talk to their design team. GOOD JOB on listening to constructive criticism. overall I'd highly recommend the product both for look and functionality, and for the customer support that stands behind their products. (sorry for the lengthy review) **ORIGINAL**it is a great looking mirror and it'll make any bathroom look 10x better, as long as the wall that it is hanging from, is smooth or tiled. Otherwise, it'll show EVERY SINGLE imperfection. so much so, that we had to tile our bathroom wall to fix the issue (it would have probably have been cheaper to get a different mirror, but we were on the fence about tile to begin with, and this just finalized our decision). 2 big draw backs to justify the 3 stars: 1- the mirror does not have the on/off memory function. meaning, that even if it is hard wired like ours, toggling the bathroom switch, DOES NOT turn the mirror light on. you still have to press the touchpad on the mirror. we have 3 more lighted mirrors of 2 different brands in other bathrooms, and they have this function. 2- the holes for hanging are WAAAYYY too close to the edge, so the hole on the tile is visible from the side (and I know the tile person was excellent as it did a lot of work throughout the house). overall I like the look of the mirror and I am sure to some these drawbacks are not such. ... show more
