Comfy to walk in, shaft is slim enough to wear under straight leg pants easily, also cute with tights and a skirt. I usually wear a 6.5 but got a 7 in these because reviews said they ran narrow, and they fit fine with a slightly thicker sock - I don’t think they run particularly narrow and I tend to have a wider foot. This is my second pair of these boots, I have not found a pair of Chelsea boots that can compete. I have skinny legs and ankles, so am always on the lookout for boots that do not have wide gaps around the ankles. These boots are incredibly comfortable, I wear them to work and on the weekends, and stylish. Pair them with leggings and a skirt/dress or with jeans, they look great with anything! They run true to size, I usually buy boots 1/2 size larger and wear thick socks but I purchase these in my normal size and wear my normal socks with these. I think the confusion to whether these are leather or not is because of the stretchy material around the ankle. The label on the inside says leather and man made material because of the stretchy material not the boot itself. My boots smell like leather. The only disappointment I thought was the fact that the heel is plastic/rubber and looks a bit cheap but they are comfortable. ... show more

Darn it! Had to return. They were almost impossible to get on! I have normal/narrow even feet but the opening at the top and the lack of a finger sized pull in the back made it impossible to get them on without a fight.
