So I was actually trying to buy a different piece of KC luggage I'd seen that was at an incredible price. Unfortunately, when I looked, the item was sold out. Under the section "you might like this", this "bundle" was offered. The price was incredible and I trust the Kenneth Cole brand to provide a quality product, so I ordered it. It came just in time for a quick turnaround trip very recently and it performed beautifully! It's classic look and design (another credit to the KC brand), roominess of both the roller and the backpack, and the ease of getting it into the overhead bin makes these two the perfect travel duo. This little bag has no problem as a carryon, it’s lightweight, and very maneuverable. It also fits on top of my suitcase which I take as a check bag. The wheels are very nice and allow maneuverability in all directions. It also holds a lot. After reading some of the reviews I almost did not purchase it. Boy would that have been a mistake if I did not purchase it, because it’s the best bag I’ve ever had as a carryon. I did not understand some of the reviews it got. The color is as it says it is, black with gold zippers and looks great very classy. The zippers move well and seem like they will be very durable as long as you are not over stuffing it or shoving a laptop in that won’t fit. My laptop fits just fine in it, with an additional padded pouch I use to protect it, and there is still plenty of room without stressing the zippers. It’s got extra pockets inside and out for organizing. Very well made. I see people stuffing much larger bags in the overhead carryon compartments that shouldn’t even be allowed. This actually fits under the seat very nicely and I can still put my purse inside as long as it’s a small to medium size, with the laptop and other things. (see update below) This is so cute and looks luxurious. The zippers seem secure and smooth. I leave tomorrow on my flight and this will be my carry-on. I love that it has the 360° wheels. I will see how sturdy they are. The pull up handle is smooth and seems solid compared to most. Lots of external zippers too, so you don't have to open the whole thing to get to your items, including your notebook or small laptop. *Update* When you extend the handle, although it is solid to pull up, it is wobbly. The wheel casings also wobble, causing the wheels to veer left and right. It is impossible to steer it in a straight line without having it shoot off diagonally away from you every second. The only way to control it is to pull it behind you like a traditional two-wheeler. I wanted a four-wheeler so I could turn it sideways and roll it down the aisle on the plane. As it is too wide for the increasingly narrower plane aisles, and it does not move in a straight line going sideways, the only choice is to bend over and push it with both hands so that it steers straight, or pick it up and carry it. VERY nice bag and rolls smoothly on NYC sidewalks. With that said, it could have a bit more room for a laptop in a sleeve to slide in and out easily and it didn’t fit my keyboard. I was still able to stuff in my small purse with the laptop. Much cuter than other options available in ‘rolling’ bags that weren’t carry ons. The wheels are fantastic. You can roll in any direction without tilting the bag. One thing that is annoying is that the button on the handle is sensitive so it would periodically get triggered as I held the handle and the mechanism would make the handle go down. It wouldn’t drop to too far down, but just enough to distract you and you’d need to fix it. This happened when not tilting the bag since your hand would be over the handle and not under it. The price is great for the quality and as long as the handle doesn’t break any time soon. ... show more

This luggage operated amazingly and was beautiful and easy to identify. But, unfortunately I had a broken zipper on oe and the larger one the framing came out and was bent up. I even bought a 3rd piece, but not until after I realized I was never going to hear back from either of of the two Warranty Contact Options. I am still struggling with it and/or letting Amazon know that this well regarded name brand is not offering A REAL Lifetime Warranty, when the email addresses and contact options to not work. It's hard because I am busy and this is taking up time I do not have. ... show more
