I have been using this for my 14 year old ragdoll which I rescued from a catery. Since she has gotten older she has developed this constant cough. I have taken her to the vet several times andnI am tired of the vet prescribing her medication after medication which temporarily fixes her issue. I thought I would give this product a try. She has been doing great. Her coughing is minimal too. My cat doesn't mind the taste either. I keep the product in the fridge and it's like routine. Before breakfast she gets her dropper of medicine and before bedtime she gets it too. It's nice not to have to fight with my cat to take her medicibe. I am so happy that I found you and this product. medicine. So much!

Seems to already be working after two days. However, it doesn't say how long to give this to your dog. I am wondering if I should for 7-10 days? Anyone know?

My foster dog has lung cancer - he's a fospice dog really. He would start coughing and coughing and coughing, often coughing up copious amounts of blood. Keeping him calm and quiet didn't help. Water didn't help. He wasn't into his food, I'm sure because his throat would be hurting a ton with all that irritation. I give him 3 droppers with a few treat crumbs to make sure he gets it all, twice a day. It has been like night and day. I can tell when it's wearing off (about 12 hours) as he'll start to randomly cough again. I'm not sure what magic is in this, but it's been phenomenal. Mr Darcy (my foster) has gone from potentially only having days or weeks with me, to we're not sure but it's already been longer than we thought. Primarily because he's not coughing up blood anymore. He's interested in his food and going out in the yard again. And he can do things like... get down off the couch without breaking into a coughing fit. This has been a huge component of his treatment plan, and one that has paid off in dividends for him.

It smells like soy sauce. The label is different from what's on the Amazon sales page for this product. I don't know what's in this. I don't know who this company is. Two different purchases and the same feeling when you actually get the product in hand (which is different than the one they are selling). When I google some of the herbs (Chinese names) on the bottles it's pretty scary sounding stuff that should not be given to pets. Sorry, I'm not a gambler and I'm just not buying this weird crap from Amazon any more.

I really wanted to love this product, after reading all of the reviews from other senior dog owners. Though it may be that my dog's structure might be causing his cough (still being determined by the vet), this did little to soothe or assist him with him cough so I can't really rate it highly. He also seemed to be very deterred by the taste. I give 3 stars because the bottle and dropper were durable and didn't break or malfunction and it didn't give him any adverse effects.

Every year our 13yo lab/pit mix gets a bad cough in January or February. The last couple years have been pretty bad. The vet has gave us some pills for her to be on, but she would still get pretty bad coughing fits. This year I decided to look for something to help alongside her meds. The cough and throat soother meds seem to be helping. Her coughing is very minimal now. She doesn't mind the flavor, and most times will let me give her the dosage without trying to run off like she has done with past meds. My only complaint with this product is the dropper. The markings rub of very quickly, and the dropper only fills about half way. So instead of 3 droppers full, she gets 6 half droppers.

Over the past year, I’ve been struggling to find a way to soothe my dogs throat from hacking due to his bronchitis. The only thing that seemed to work other than mixing honey in his water bowl are these drops! These drops really do keep him from hacking up a storm! My dog seems more relaxed now with these drops! I usually just put the drops directly in his mouth for a better preformsnce since his case is severe. I highly recommend these drops! In the meantime, it’s doing it’s job until I get my dog to vet!
