Fantastic product sounds even better than it looks. I purchased mine through the Kennedy violins website ( its actually cheaper and you can customize the order to your specs including case color strings bow type etc) their website allows for a free upgrade to an alright carbon fiber bow. Defect is not noticeable unless you know its there and are really looking hard. Originally got 1 with a major glue defect that resulted in thw top plate coming off of 1 corner and after I contacted Kennedy viokins they priority overnighted a replacement to me and were all too happy to help. This violin is above my expectations, it's beautifully made and it sounds amazing. The case is lightweight and it comes along with an interior accessory compartment, suspension padding and a soft interior lining. I've actually been going to their location for private violin lessons and I picked up the violin in person. Kennedy Violins not only carry superior instruments, their staff are also wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable. I later found out that all the staff are musicians themselves too. That being said, I feel very comfortable recommending them to anyone whether you are a beginner or looking to upgrade your instrument. ... show more
