Use these on a 3 foot whip. Great flex and yet sturdy. The locking mechanism that prevent spinning is the best feature. Prevents the whip from twisting and messing up my wires. Buy these springs!

While the whip lights lock in place on the original mounts the spring mounts allow the whip lights to rotate, which is not ideal with the wiring harness.

Using these to support my other-brand 4ft whip lights on my truck. Perfect fit, replacing the base units included with the lights, and a very strong spring to support the whip lights motion when driving. The post itself where it connects to the whip light could be about 1/4 longer, matching the other ones that were included with the whips, but connection is solid.

Kemimoto whips are Junk!! The first set I ordered 3 years ago, one side went bad, I then ordered a replacement, and another one went bad and I replaced that one. Sold my machine and purchased a new machine. I read reviews, and saw that Kemimoto offered a lifetime replacement on LED Lighted whips. I ordered a set and the same thing happened again in the same spot on the whips. They have a shallow quick release that spins and spins causing the wiring to pull and break the led strip at the bottom of the led lights causing a short. I then tried to get in touch with Kemimoto and the phone number listed for warranty claims has been disconnected. After several days Amazon just refunded my purchase. 3 months later a package shows up with another junk set of whips!! I replaced the Junk Kemimoto led whips with the Nilight led whips and truly every single part of the Nilights are better than the Kemimoto ones. The plug for the electrical portion is way better, the quick connect doesn't spin and there is more of a tag end on the wires to prevent pulling on the wires. The quick connect is taller and more robust. Easier on and off. I wasted over $1400.00 on installation, purchases of the leds from Kemimoto and I am leaving this review to try and prevent another person from going through all this. That's 7 whips that have gone bad! You have been warned!
