The KEMIMOTO 2PCS Fat Whip Lights turned my ride into a rolling light show, and installing them was pretty straightforward. The small gap you might notice in my photo isn’t because of the product—it’s just from the way I mounted the grip, so no worries there. The lights themselves shine bold, smooth colors that cut through darkness like a glowing trail. The flexible build feels tough enough for bumpy trails, and the controls let you switch things up without much effort. If there’s one downside, it’s that learning all the different modes can take a minute, but it’s worth it once you get the hang of it. I've had RGB whip lights/flag masts before, but these are on a totally different level. The hardware, bolt and spring, etc. are seriously heavy duty and very obviously made to serious tolerances. The RGB wrapping is tight and well done, and the wiring coming off of the whip light is wrapped in a neoprene like sleeve, keeping it close without letting it be easily damaged. The connections between the power system (and blinking relay system) are more than just 'plug in' connections, but instead have bolt style probably watertight connections. (I haven't tested water-tightness.) I have never seen or used whip lights that have the diamond-like strobe at the top, it adds a great touch to the chasing lights available on the control app. If you've seen whip lights like this in use elsewhere, they probably weren't as substantial, thick, and solid as these, they are easily stronger and brighter than the set I've used to a couple of years now. Love to see people improve on something by making it more durable, and better at what it does. If you have the right spot on your vehicle, these are easy to install, the most difficult part for most people will be deciding where to drill holes for the spring assemblies.
