I have used this brand of portable chair for years, love the roominess and canopy, and reorder as needed when the chair begins to break down. This chair is used almost daily, three seasons of the year, at the beach where I live and at football games. I carry it in my car year-round. Pros—You can’t beat the comfort and roominess of this chair. The cup holder is convenient and the shade canopy is a MUST HAVE for me. The canopy is my reason for continuing to order this chair every few years. Also, the easy fold-up makes the chair ready to go in seconds. The cover is built in. There’s no struggle to store the chair inside a bag after use. I absolutely love this feature. Cons—The chair weighs over 9 lbs. The older I get, the heavier the chair seems. Lol. This chair is best carried over short distances. The carry strap on all my chairs has torn free from the structure, which is the primary reason I’ve had to replace them. The canopy broke on one chair. Each chair lasts me about three years with daily/near daily use. Major Con! I’m very annoyed that this new model arrived with *exposed screws* on both sides of the canopy. The screws poke and scrape the backs of my arms while sitting in the chair. This deformity is something new and very unwelcome. The manufacturer needs to address this issue. I must find a way to cover the screws to protect my skin from injury. Overall, this canopy style chair serves my need for shade, comfort, and convenience. ... show more

The shade on this chair is great if you are in the right position with the sun. But not super useful otherwise. Can't blame the chair for that. But what I can blame the chair for is it's flimsy strap!! I only used this maybe 20x and the chair strap is already ripped off at the top. For the weight of the chair, they need to reinforce it more or add another strap. How am I supposed to carry it now?? Do not recommend. ... show more

I had a chair by the same brand for over 10 years. It was made with 2 shoulder carry straps. I loved it enough to purchase 2 more. Both of the new chairs were made with one carry strap and the both broke within a couple months of use. Highly disappointed.
