These are super comfortable shoes. But let me say right off the bat the description is wrong. There is no leather on this shoe. That aside, they really do have an anatomical footbed, as it says. There is no so-called arch support. Arches do not need "propping up" in the middle. They only need firm support at the ball and heel. I had plantar fasciitis in 2016 and learned a lot about feet. Barefoot is best, anything else is a crutch that weakens your foot muscles. I bought these in Brindle last summer (2022) and walked many miles around Pittsburgh, right out of the box, no trouble whatsoever. And I am 60. I will say they are a little hot. That is weird given that they are a strappy sandal. However I do find them too hot on really hot days. Perhaps it's the synthetic fabric of the straps. I just bought them in Navy and I think they are sporty and cute. I have no trouble at all with the strap being tight but I have fairly skinny feet. There is some stretch to the strap and I imagine it would be fine unless your feet tend to swell. They have a grippy soft rubber sole but the profile is still flat as nature intended (no appreciable rise from toe to heel, maybe 1/4").

I love Keen shoes. I needed a replacement for my 15 y/o+ die-hard Newport H2 style sandals, and I really loved the feminine look of these. First, I ordered the Brindle color and the right shoe had a bulge at the pinky toe, so I returned those. Then, I ordered the Gargoyle color, and that pair squeeked like nothing I've ever experienced... Super annoying... so, I returned those. Afterwards, I decided to go into the REI store to see what they had, and saw they had this beautiful color called Fawn in the Newport H2 style sandal, but I left because I didnt want to buy the same shoe style I had before. Finally, I decided to come back online and saw that this sandal was made in Fawn, too. So, I decided to order one more time. Friends, let me tell you, I'm so thankful I went to all of the trouble. I LOVE these sandals. They are so comfortable and stylish, and feel like they will last just as long as my old die-hards. They are true to size. I wear a 7.5, ordered a 7.5 and they fit perfectly.

I bought my first pair of Keen sandals 7 years ago. Living in Arizona I wore them 12 months a year. And let me tell you, I wore the heck out of them. I wore them probably 3 to 4 days a week. The sandal held up great considering the constant wear. My feet never hurt wearing these sandals. The inside had a little cushy give. The sole was solid and did not give to bending. The traction is comparable to a truck tire. I have been searching for the same style Keen sandal for years so that I could buy more in different colors. I was thrilled when Keen brought back this style this year. Wasn't so thrilled about the ankle strap that was added. I am going to bring them to cobbler and see if they can remove the strap for me so that I can have a basic slide sandal. Even if they can't, I will still be grateful for finding this style again. The most comfortable closed toe sandal ever made! The pics I posted are of my 7yr old pair of shoes on the left and the new ones on the right. Note, the pic of the tread of the 7yr old pair still has some wear left to them despite the nonstop usage. I highly recommend Keen shoes. I can attest to the durability of this sandal.

I wanted to replace a pair of Keen sandals that I had for many years, but they didn't make this sandal anymore. So I bought this similar sandal. I love these sandals. Closed toe (which is harder and harder to find) but not bulky. Comfortable right out of the box. You can wear them with pants, capris, shorts, and dresses. As a teacher, I am on my feet much of the day, and these sandals offer just the right amount of support. Straps around the ankle are adjustable. I have gotten lots of compliments on them. They are cute!

I love these particular Keens! I have horrible bunions and these give perfectly. The leather softens enough with wear to not cause problems. Love the toe guard. Have had several compliments on them. Can go as semi-dressy to very casual! I will agree that the ankle strap construction can be a bit annoying as it doesn’t open all the way as a traditional sandal. You do have to slide foot in the ankle loop and pull up on the heel strap to fully insert your foot. Still, I don’t really have a problem with it unless my feet are damp/wet. Sturdy sole. Comfortable. I’m taking a 3 week trip to Morocco and these are going to be my go to sandals.

This is my second pair of this type of shoe. This is great for wearing in the water or wearing for a walk. There is some sliding around on the shoe so I wouldn't go on LONG walks but general walking around these are great and look cute. I have super wide feet and these are a little snug across the top of my foot however they break in and fit like a glove after a couple wears.
