I purchased these boots just before a house fire in January 2023. They were the last item I carried out of the house because I knew it was going to rain that day and I would need boots. These boots have been so great in keeping my feet safe on uneven and muddy ground, walking through wet grassy fields, and just the day to day walk to the shop to take a shower on gravel and rocky land. These boots are true to size and fit well with medium-weight socks. I've worn them out hiking twice now and my feet are warm enough but the boots are quite stiff. I realize this is true for a lot of waterproof shoes/boots and hope they will be a little more comfortable with wear. The "arctic grip" on the soles is not all that wonderful though, and I'll be using my cleats on another pair of winter boots for ANY icy conditions. I'm sure these will be fine for winter temps though... great room in the toe box! ... show more

Great shoe but occasionally the long lace gets caught on my spikes and it makes me fall on hikes. Without spikes they’re so fantastic.

I hike a lot and am always looking for great hiking boots. Trying to find a good pair of winter hiking boots is not easy, they usually arn't what they claim to be, like warm, waterproof and even comfortable. These boots are all that and more, I just bought another pair in the green/black color, on sale for $89.00 SCORE!!! I wouldn't wait to buy them, I'm sure they will run out of your size and most likely go back up in price. One more thing, I have avarage feet, not wide or narrow, these boots feel perfect and the toe box has plenty of room. I know some other comments were they were narrow and also that you should size up, I disagree. They fit just right! Good luck in the snow!!! ... show more

These are very comfy. I bought them for winter and hunting season. They are too warm to wear all day in temps higher than 40°F but great for colder weather as I tended. It took about 3 wears to get them warm in but now they are super comfy just to warm so I'm buying a lighter weight pair for the rest of the year. ... show more

The recommended size was correct even though I thought they would be too large. I normally wear an 8 or 8 1/2 but was recommended to order a size 9.
