Second pair. First pair soles and most of the shoe wore well. The heel seam started fray a little earlier than expected, but mostly because of the way I put them on. This pair I will use a shoe horn and I hope to get two years out of them. They look appropriate with both jeans and cotton slacks. I wore them as my only shoe on vacation in Europe. Lots of walking, all day. Always comfortable, light and supportive. I'll get another pair when these wear out. Edit: Just bought my third pair early, because of the good price. Second pair still has another year in them. Excellent wear, no fraying (still didn't use a shoe horn). EXTREMELY comfortable. Great sole traction on every surface, wet and dry. Perfectly appropriate appearance for everything except a suit and tie, and not bad for that, either. I hope Keen keeps making these and I'll buy a pair every two years. Thanks, Keen. Just bought my 10th pair. Additional Edit: Several years of wearing this shoe, I now buy a new pair every year, and have several extra pair in the garage for when Keen stops making them. I've decided I can't live without these shoes. I've never had such happy feet, and the TRACTION. WOW! I feel like Spiderman. I can see why Chefs like these shoes on slippery wet tile floors. They grip everything. I could get more than a year out of them, but at this price I get a nice looking new pair of shoes that go with everything and have new soles every year. Again, thank you Keen! I’ve been buying Keens almost exclusively for the last few years due to the spacious toe box. I bought these for work and they are comfortable enough, appear to be rugged, but they squeak when I walk. Makes it hard to sneak-up on people.

Im a chef ive been in the industry for 20 + years. These are the best work shoes ive ever worn. Very comfortable and last forever i oil them twice a week helps keep them nice. There the only work shoes I'll ever buy.

I've had 3 pairs of keen products in the past 3 years. Two pairs of boots and this pair of kitchen shoes. None of them lasted longer than 6 months. Don't get me wrong here... I'm not out there in the elements, I work in a kitchen. I bought this pair in April 2022 and the non-slip tread wore off in July. For over $130, this is the worst non-slip shoe I've ever had. The next part to fail was the heel, which would scrape my heel and cause blisters ( my shoes are worn loose ) due to the plastic rubbing on my skin. Last week I slipped and ate it hard at my job and twisted my wrist pretty bad when I fell. I'll never purchase Keen again, I'll never recommend keen to anyone because of the lack of quality. The only thing these shoes have going for them is the fit. They fit me very well. in 3 years I've spent over $400 on keen products that lasted me less than 1 year a piece. Just buy some Walmart brand with insoles instead ... show more

I waited a week because sometimes I love a shoe the first hour and then as the night wears on I cant wait to get them off. These shoes are awesome. At first the few days of breaking them in. Snugness took some getting used to and now they are totally molded to my foot. I have zero foot pain and the support is amazing. I've tried dozens of shoes in my 25 years of cooking and standing for 12 to 15 hours a day. Recently Birkis and bluestone. But i find my foot just slips around in these shoes and the resulting ankle pain was crazy. Crocs while comfy give my feet too much room and they swell to fit the shoe as the night wears on. I've had Doc Martens of all kinds and still find the foot pain at the end of the night too much to bear....great shoes but not for hours of standing. I searched for a snug fit and support and found these Keens and they are now my forever shoe. I am gonna get the boot next. As for traction...I am in this picture mopping up and walking around in a fryer oil spill. A tough test for any non slip shoe and this one passed. And you don't sacrifice traction for messy gunk in the sole that you have to dig out with a knife like a croc. Love love love these easy to clean shoes. ... show more
