  • Great Boots
Size: 12 Color: Magnet/Tawny Olive
Second pair of these I’ve purchased. 1st pair lasted two winters delivering packages up to 12 hours a day in the northeast. I’ve been through a lot of different boots in the last 20 years, these have been my favorite. Warm - but not too warm, actually waterproof, and great fit. Most shoes I need to order wide width, but these fit perfect in regular. They have a roomy toe box and the length is true to size. Very comfortable with almost no break in time. The soles hold up well and get excellent traction on snow. I use Stabilicers Lite with them on the ice. Perfect fit with the ridges on the heels, easy to put on/ take off and very effective. There’s also a metal hook in front of the bottom lace that works great with OR snow gaiters. Highest recommendation for these boots! ... show more

  • Of 13 I tried, these are the best boot in this price range I could find. I love these boots
Size: 10 Color: Magnet/Tawny Olive
I am absolutely sold on KEEN boots. I owned a pair before these... I bought them locally at a store that no longer carries the Keens. So, when they were shot out, (about 5 years of a lot of wearing, working/hiking) still water proof, still holding up, the foot bed is basically breaking down, I decided to look at buying another set of boots. I literally bought 13 pairs of boots and had a try-on party at my house while my wife was out of town!!! I tried everything in this price range from boots I never heard of to Merrels. Nothing was quite as comfy as the KEENs. I have some problem with my arches and heels... These are as good as my HOKA tennis shoes. waterproof to the top, and solid. I hiked the next weekend... great, no pain and the high ankle clearly saved my ankle in a mistep that would have cause a rolled ankle in a lower boot. I cannot express how much I love these boots. ... show more

  • GREAT boot! GREAT boot!
Size: 9 Color: Magnet/Tawny Olive
This is my second pair of this style. I love them. I work a very physical job, and routinely get 15-20k steps a day - often with difficult work in all types of weather. My last pair I bought last November, and they are still going strong. I bought the second pair recently, as we prep for winter. And, the good news - Keen has upgraded the laces. My last review, I gave them 3 stars just because of the cheap laces they shipped with. And, most other reviews mentioned that as well. Great to see that Keen heard our voices and responded. These boots are warm, but they breathe. They have been solidly wolarerproof for 10 months... without additional treatment. They support my arches very well, and are very comfortable from the state, with just a bit of break in, they molded to my feet perfectly. Here is a pro tip to make these great boots TOP of the line - spend 30.00 for a pair of Carhartt insoles and replace the ones Keen ships them with. Well done, Keen. Thank you Denver, Colorado ... show more

  • Worth Considering
Size: 11 Color: Magnet/Tawny Olive
Within their limits, I've found these to be pleasant winter boots. I like Keens in general because of the wide toe box and somewhat of a rocker sole, both of which are kind to my old arthritic toes. These are well padded, which adds to their comfort and warmth. The padding also makes them a bit sloppy, and I find they needed regular re-tightening as the padding packs down. They also run a bit large. I usually buy a wide width, and these are more than wide enough in the standard width. My 11D feels more like and 11 1/4EE. The soles are a softer compound than most hiking boots, which makes them better on ice and packed snow. So far they've been waterproof and warm and very comfortable. The trade off is mostly in less than rigid ankle support and in general sloppiness. I've found that Keen's quality control and construction is somewhat hit and miss, and I don't expect a particularly long life from these boots. I also own the Keen's Summit County III Winter Boots, which are very similar to these except taller and warmer and better for deep snow. The soles are a little different, but the rest of my review would be the same as for the Revel's. Both boots are a bit bulky and numb for driving, but not impossible. Good enough for my purposes. ... show more

  • Present sale price of the Keen Revel III mid height boot is a must buy for the high quality.
Size: 10 Color: Magnet/Tawny Olive
I have had the KEEN Men's Revel III Mid Height hiking for 2 days. Looking at the way it is built holding each boot in your hands it is quite easy to see the quality. Once I put each boot on I noticed the support was incredible to my feet. As I walked I felt the pressure of this support completely surrounded each foot equally. I have had the Keen Targhee III for 5 years. This is also a top hiking boot on the market. Both boots have the same 200 gram insulation. Since the Revel is slightly higher, about an inch & 1/2, than the Targhee III it will be warmer in the winter. Revel was purchased because the selling price was cheaper than the normal price of Targhee. ... show more

  • Great boots for any price
Size: 10 Color: Magnet/Tawny Olive
I love these boots. This is my second pair after the first pair lasted me 3 years of heavy use. They are comfortable right out of the box for hiking and working, and warm enough for cold, wet spring nights in Maine. The traction is great on a slick boat deck. The stitching held up for the life of my last pair and I would still be wearing them if they had not been stolen somewhere in Africa last month. Replacing my lost boots with the exact same pair was a no-brainer! ... show more

  • Trash
Size: 14 Color: Magnet/Tawny Olive
Had a pair years ago that lasted yearssss... never cold feet and always dry.. finally got a new pair. My feet never got warm. Not even in the truck with the floor heat on full blast.. and walking 30' in 7" of snow the inside was wet. Wet from water not sweat.. absolutely garbage

  • Love These Boots!
Size: 12 Color: Magnet/Tawny Olive
I use these for everyday wear and hiking. These had a break-in time of about 2 weeks or less. These are very comfortable boots and fairly warm in very cold weather (I bought a size and half larger and wear an extra thick pair of socks). The quality and build appear very durable; especially the thick leather and the amazing soles and support these boots have. I did put a gel insole inside to greatly increase the comfort and the recoil/shock absorbing ability for difficult terrain encounters. The soles seem to be far better than most on ice/slippery conditions. A few of the Keen boots I've owed have disappointed me in terms of durability, but these look to be top notch in durability (the leather, stitching, design, and etc.). Surprisingly, these are lightweight to boot! ... show more
