  • Perfect slip on Alaska boot. Foot warm but not too warm
Size: 9.5 Color: Dark Earth/Mulch
I love these boots and they are getting hard to find since Keen made an Anchorage IV version. These are my go to winter pull on boot here in Alaska. 200 grams of insulation makes for warm feet but not swamp foot. Well made, warm, good traction on these. Weight is good, super comfy and tread lasts along time. I cycle between 2 pairs and get about 18 months of daily use on them each time ... show more

  • Great mild 0-20*
Size: 9 Wide Color: Dark Earth/Mulch
Solid quality just as expected and great fit. Super comfortable and super lightweight for winter boot…. My RedWings lasted for years, hope these will hold up just as good. This is my first pair

  • These boots plus Huberds shoe grease = awesomeness These boots plus Huberds shoe grease = awesomeness
Size: 11.5 Color: Steel Grey/Magnet
These boots are very well made and hold up well. I have bought the brown shirt a year ago and the light gray ones this week. Both pairs looked a little scuffed when I received them, but a little Huberds shoe grease makes them look great (although a little darker). They are comfortable down to at least 10 degrees F ( F is easier to spell than faren-something) but I haven't written them in colder than that. They are very comfortable once you get them pulled on. If 11.5 Targhee boots fit you, 11.5 in these will be perfect. The are very good repeling water as long as it doesn't get high enough to go through the stretchy side panels. The texture of the tread is great for not slipping, not so good for tracking mud on to your wife's clean floors. But on the plus side, when you are hiding out in your shop you have more time to write Amazon reviews. TLDR: buy these boots and a can of Huberds shoe grease... and maybe one of those shoe cleaner things with the brushes on them. ... show more

  • Great Boot, inconsistent quality
Size: 10.5 Color: Dark Earth/Mulch
Updated Review: After owning these boots for 3 years and going through 3 pairs, I wanted to update my review. I still love my original pair of boots purchased 3 years ago; however, the quality has been inconsistent with the two newest pairs. The first pair is still holding up after 3 years. Despite being worn and worked hard, they are standing the test of time, so my wife gifted me two new pairs—one black and one brown. Unfortunately, the two newer pairs have not held up as well. Both have the treads separating from the sole. The black ones are peeling on the side of the boot, while the brown ones have the black treads peeling at the toes. I haven't even worn these boots out in the woods or put them through any hard work. I was keeping these two clean and used them just for wet and snowy days to and from the office. So, I have been quite disappointed with the two newest pairs. They are comfortable boots, and I've bragged about them to my friends and coworkers. However, I'm lowering my review from 5 to 4 stars as it appears their quality has decreased over the years. The original boots are 100% a 5-star solid purchase. The 2nd and 3rd pairs, I should honestly be angry with the lack of craftsmanship. I do still wear them and have ordered some glue to see if I can make any repairs. The brown boots are ones I'm not sure I will be able to fix. Original Review: Doesn’t rub ankles raw like some slip ones. Boot size for was true. I typically get a 10.5 boot and anywhere from a 10-11 in tennis shoes. I ordered 10.5 boot and fits snug with heat holders socks and comfortably with regular long socks. Easy to slip on yet stay snug to foot and don’t flop around you ankle as you walk. Material seems nice and well made for price. This is an excellent mid range boot. ... show more

  • Good work boot.
Size: 8 Color: Dark Earth/Mulch
Won't lie - I think these are ugly. HOWEVER -- they are the most comfortable work boot I have ever worn. I have a hobby farm, and I use these boots extensively during the summer, and after work the rest of the year. I find I can get about a year+ of use out of these. While they say they are a winter boot, I use them year round, even in the desert heat with wool socks. They are water proof, have good tread, are easy slip ins, and a great choice for my needs. What is great is if I want to go for a 3 mile walk with my dog, I don't need to change my shoes. They work great in the snow. They keep dirt out of the boot (unless I am doing tractor work, and stomping around in the holes. If I had laced boots, the debris would stay out better, but it's not a sticking point with me.) I DO use my own inserts in the boots, but before they changed the inserts and quit using leather, I just used the stock ones. Overall, Love these- comfortable! Tough, waterproof-- I can work all day as an approaching retirement aged woman, and they just don't make my back or feet tired. ... show more

Very good boots, very comfortable, I have already been wearing them for 6 months and they are still in good condition.

  • They changed the boot.
Size: 9.5 Wide Color: Dark Earth/Mulch
They changed the last and heel measurement. I cant even insert my forefoot into the shaft let alone get the boot on. I've had my current boot of this model for 6 years. I'm sure they changed factories so they could cut cost which then increases shareholder value which pleases wall street to no end. But I can no longer wear their boots. Oh well, share holders are more important than customers. ... show more

  • Not overly tight on narrow feet, comfy, warm.
Size: 10.5 Color: Dark Earth/Mulch
So far, I’m loving these. I treated them ahead of time and have been able to use in 12” snow for hiking. I was skeptical if they’d actually keep my sock dry at the elastic mesh part, but they’ve done the job on several multi-mile hikes with only occasional deep snow contact. The upper is glued to the sole, so I expect that to be the eventual fail point. I’ve had some success with other shoes, using contact adhesive to re-assemble. Hoping to get 1-2 years of use out of these before that happens, but wanted to put a review out there before we get to that point. This do fit reasonably, with breathing room, but I have longer, narrow feet. They don’t fit as snugly as my Blundstones, but I’m OK with that! ... show more
