My son loves these shoes! I’ve been wearing keen hiking boots since 2018 and thought my kid might be willing to hike with me if he had better shoes. He says these are waterproof (tested), comfortable, and he brags about the traction to everyone. They fit well! 10 year old hiked Inca trail in these. One day it rained the whole day. His socks were wet by the end of it from the rain coming in the top, as opposed to submerging the boots. My Lowas were completely dry on the inside under the same conditions. I was a little disappointed that the claim is water proof, but couldn't handle a day of hiking in the rain. Cold wet feet on a multi day hike is a bummer. It looked like it leaked through where the tongue connects with the boot, or on top of the boot where the laces are. They dried out pretty quick the next day. They were really comfortable for him though and no blisters or anything. Good grip, solid hiking boot, just not quite waterproof. ... show more
