I bought these gray striped Keds for a 2 week trip to London. I have a couple pairs of water-resistant Keds that I love but are not great spring shoes. I got the size 9, which is what I wear in my other Keds. These size 9's were a bit larger than my other Keds. I thought, at first, that I would have to return them, but I tried them for a couple days at home and they seemed fine. The real test was my trip to London, and these shoes were THE BEST! I walked between 5-10 miles around the city everyday and these shoes were fabulous. It was actually good that they were slightly too big (my feet always swell after hours on my feet and then my shoes start to bother me), but these cute shoes never hurt my feet or gave me blisters. The thick padding on the heel was incredibly comfortable and never rubbed. I also wear an insert with all of my shoes and the insert fit perfectly in the shoes. Another thing I love about Keds is the shoelaces. Every other pair of lace shoes I own need to be double knotted to keep them from untying, but Keds shoelaces never come untied with a single. They are also the cutest shoes ever! I have gotten many compliments. And, the price is absolutely awesome. The only slight negative with these shoes is that they are canvas and very light (basically white) and I picked up a lot of dirt while tromping around the city, but that doesn't really bother me.     • It's hard to beat Keds!

I had a pair of Keds that have taken it all - hiking, trips, play time and playgrounds with 2 and 4-year-old grandchildren, and the Keds just keep going. I had other tennis shoes that I used for back-ups, but honestly the Keds became my "go-to" shoe for daily wear. After a year of wear, I thought it would be nice to have another pair that looked a little "whiter", so I ordered this pair. These fit so well, I thought I'd like one more pair, that way I could use the "dirty" Keds when I spent the day with grandkids and two nicer pairs for every day. So I found another pair of Keds I liked and those came yesterday. I tried them on and thought, "Wow, these feel fabulous on my feet!" But they seemed vaguely familiar....they were. I bought the same pair as my original pair of Keds. I'm keeping them anyway! 3 pair of Keds now and I'm wondering why I even bother having the other tennis shoes in my closet. I love these shoes. They are comfortable and have some support. The color is also neutral so I can wear them with most anything. They do see just a touch wide, but it doesn't really affect the fit.

I do like the shoe but the sizing is off I bought a size 10 its about a half size too big I kept the shoes just didn't feel like returning them.

I like keds better than chucks in terms of comfort. These seem to run a bit big compared to other colors of same style. I like them tho.
