I purchased this as a fun/clean play area for my daughter to lay on since we have hardwood floors. The bottom is not non-slip but we tucked it under the footing of our couches and it stays put. The colors are great, not extremely vivid which is nice so it doesn’t stand out too much. I love that the carpet is not too soft so any spills can be rubbed out. This rug is so cute! It was delivered rolled up so there aren't any creases. This rug lays perfectly flat and has good grip underneath. It had a faint chemically smell when I first opened it but went away within minutes. It's that "new rug/carpet smell", I wasn't alarmed when I first smelled it.
