I had one of the covers that did not cover the whole kayak leaving the bottom exposed and would have to get water out of the cover every time it rained. I seen this one on Amazon for about the same price as the cheaper one I bought before. So far I'm impressed with the thickness of this cover, the zipper is heavy duty and the handles make it easier to carry. Time will tell how this one holds up when it comes to being study. I have two kayaks and if this holds up the way I think it will I'll be ordering another one for the smaller kayak. For the price you will not find one better made in my opinion. This one is the 13 foot model. Most are either 400D, 600D, 800D for fabric thickness. This fabric is 900D fabric. So, very thick and sturdy.

I got the 13ft long with 30 inch beam version and it fits my Hobie Mirage Lynx kayak almost perfectly. My kayak is 11 ft long x 36 inches wide x 12 inches high (which includes the H-rail). The cover is about 1 ft - 6 inches too long for my kayak, but other than that, it fits perfectly. The fabric is pretty thick and the cover comes with nice thick handles to carry with.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Not sure why they say waterproof that was the point of buying these over others. And now I have to completely take them off to get water out other ones you don’t Value for money: These are absolutely not waterproof which makes them worthless to me.

We bought the 13' cover for a 12' Perception Pescador sit-on-top kayak. There is ample room as to both length and width. The cover appears to be well made and is of heavier material than my prior 600d cover, which was ripped when it was mishandled by others when they were transporting my yak along with a bunch of others. Will need to see how it holds up over the long run but right now I am very satisfied.
