This kayak cover is way better than the others we have. We got the 10' with 27" beam hoping our new kayak that is 10' with a 29" beam would fit and it does with room to spare. The heavy fabric definitely keeps the rain water, dust, critters, creepy crawlies, and UV light out. The zipper on the front is very easy to work an has a velcro flap keeping the rain out. Handles are sewn onto the front and back making transport easy. It is a little more troublesome to put on the kayak than the slip over the top type we have for our others but this one is so much better at protecting our toys. It's easy to use, just open the hole and slide your kayak in, and zip it up. It cost about the same as our slip ons so we will be looking into getting more. I don't think I would have any issues trailering this cover. It came with two straps to wrap around the kayak that help keep your kayak from sliding all around in it. Absolutely love it

Was very impressed with the quality of the material zipper, zipper flaps, handles and storage bag. It’s obvious a lot of care was put into this product. For some reason did not fit 18 foot canoe. Will try to order a larger size. Recommend ordering 1ft longer than specs indicate. Otherwise, great cover!!

They say stress kills. Well, having no decent place to store you kayak without it sitting in the weather 365, you worry about fading and cracking, and gross stuff getting in it. I mean, it's down the line on stresses that keep you up at night. But it's amazing how good it feels to tie off a bleeder. See, it did spare my life. The materials are well made. I have yet to see how well this holds up this coming winter. But from what I can see and feel, it should do well.

Pros: taped seams, zipper moves easily and is covered by a wide flap for added protection from rain, held down with him and loop fastener. The cover is large enough to accommodate wider kayaks and canoes... which makes the size a con if your boat isn't close to the recommended length or width. It will provide protection from sunlight and a deterrent for critters who might see your boat as a possible home. Cons: I had to buy a larger size cover to accommodate my longer kayak, but it is still a couple of feet shorter than the length of the cover. My kayak also has a beam of 25 in. As a result this has a lot of extra fabric and the two straps are not sufficient for tightening all the loose fabric. It would take a pretty high boat cover support to remove the surplus so that water won't pool. If you try to carry the kayak with the handles attached to the cover, you have to pull up a lot of the canvas before you get any lift. If you're removing it from a rack in your back yard it at the beach, this could be a challenge. If the size of the cover is pretty close to the size of your boat, I think you'll be pleased with this. If there is a larger difference between the size of the cover and the size of your boat, you'll find it looks sloppy and the surplus fabric interferes with handling.

The cover is well made, decent zippers, cinch straps etc. Easily a 4-5 star cover if they provided accurate sizing info, especially including circumference (girth) at a couple of points, not just 'Beam width up to 36"'. What does that mean anyway? A 36" beam sit on top could have a 80" girth most of the length, while a 36" beam canoe girth could exceed 100" and taper way down. Makes it a real crapshoot guessing how it will fit.

This is the best kayak cover that I have owned. I have over 5 different covers, and I will stick with this one from now on. The material and construction of this cover is valuable by being very durable. It's waterproof and it's much thicker material. It's not the lightweight and easy to tear cover like I have owned. It's very easy to install. It fits well. You can see the difference between the covers in the provided picture.

As I unrolled this from its bag I thought that perhaps they gave me a boat cover . It seemed huge . I got the 13’ model . Well it’s 13’ long but it’s 44” wide , I know some of that width will be taken up with the height but my kayak is going to be swimmin in this. Especially as I had to jump up to the 13’ as they don’t have a 12’er. I guess I can tuck the excess material under the kayak . The positive is the material is heavy duty cordura like fabric and should keep both UV and dirt from the kayak. Come in a handy storage bad and cover rolls up easily like a sleeping bag to fit into storage bag.
