This is my 2nd KAVU backpack and I've liked them both. These are well-made and attractive. They hold up well with travel. This particular one has more pockets and cleverly sewn pouches inside. I've received many compliments on this beautifully-colored bag. I recommend this because I prefer a backpack to a purse or shoulder bag. This was suggested to me by a physical therapist several years ago to ease shoulder pain and balance the weight of my purse/ bags. It was a great suggestion and now my KAVU backpacks are actually my purse.

The size and color are exactly as listed, and the quality is exactly as I'd expect from Kavu (I already have many Kavu cross-body bags). All I needed was something durable to transport a small laptop, a lunchbox, and a water bottle. The sturdy laptop compartment fit a 13-inch laptop (inside it's padded sleeve) just fine, though I'm not sure it needed the extra protection of the sleeve because the bag is already nicely padded. But wow, the water bottle pockets on the sides are way too small for my use. My preferred water bottles (20-24 oz Contigo bottles, insulated and non-insulated) felt like they were going to rip the elastic. I would have sent it back just for that, but my daughter loved it and needed a laptop bag for an event so I let her keep it. I'll have to get her a new water bottle since her 20oz Hydroflask doesn't fit in it at all. It's a lovely bag, though; I have this same color in a Kavu cross-body bag and it's my favorite. If not for the cup-holders it would be 5-star, but I feel like a 20oz bottle shouldn't be too big for a backpack.

I’ve been a Kavu fan forever but this was my first full size backpack I’ve bought from them. And as always Kavu did not disappoint! This backpack is comfortable, durable, and the colors/ patterns are beautiful. It has enough space for my laptop and a few notebooks/folders. I love the front pocket with the pen holders, I keep my mouse and cords in there too with room to spare. I’ve had it for almost a year now and used it almost every day, it still looks brand new. Durability is on point! I was lucky enough to snag it while it was on sale so a great value too!

I recently went on a hiking trip and needed something for the day trips as well as a "personal item" for the airport. This worked great! It isn't too big that it was cumbersome & it has several pockets to hold items that may need separated. Love the KAVU brand anyway but was very glad to have gotten this for my trip. The padded laptop & tablet part is pretty small so consider that before getting for an actual laptop bag.
