Yay..... I literally went through 4 purchases and returns to find a simple basic faux suede flat winter boots that were correct fabric, size and with a wide calf for thick socks. Very comfortable. Super roomy large sizes.

The boots are what was expected except that they had an insert to make them wider from the calf which I didn’t need. They are too wide my legs are not. Other than that everything else, the zipper, comfort is great! If color black and taupe were available I would consider to buy but not with wide calf. ... show more

These boots are cute, but they are definitely for people with WIDE calves. I have skinny legs and the boots look funny on me. Too much room at the top of the boot, makes it look funny.

These are cute, but very simple looking and seem cheaply made- flimsy. They also run very small. I normally get size 8 and I think I’d need a 9 in these. The pair I received appeared to be used… the flimsy bottoms have a felt like fabric and were roughed up and had pet hair on them. I don’t think they’d hold up for long. If they fit and were $20 or less, I’d keep them, but I’ll be returning these. Not worth the price to get a bigger size. ... show more

They have the kinda standard plasticky look to them, but as a fashion item at this price point, it is not any worse than what you might find for twice as much without going into real leather and customizing it yourself.
