These are a bit thin, and I have my doubts about them holding up a long while, BUT I gave them five stars because with an insert they are comfortable, albeit just a bit snug, and they are the perfect height, both the heel and the shaft. They seem to be stretching out as I wear them, and I have worn them a LOT since they arrived earlier this week. If they do hold up, they might become my favorite boots ever. Note: If you have large calves, get the "wide calf" version - as these are NOT wide calf. They fit my skinny legs just fine, but I see a lot of comments about needing wide calves. These boots are cute, but they are definitely for people with WIDE calves. I have skinny legs and the boots look funny on me. Too much room at the top of the boot, makes it look funny.

Yay..... I literally went through 4 purchases and returns to find a simple basic faux suede flat winter boots that were correct fabric, size and with a wide calf for thick socks. Very comfortable. Super roomy large sizes.

These are cute, but very simple looking and seem cheaply made- flimsy. They also run very small. I normally get size 8 and I think I’d need a 9 in these. The pair I received appeared to be used… the flimsy bottoms have a felt like fabric and were roughed up and had pet hair on them. I don’t think they’d hold up for long. If they fit and were $20 or less, I’d keep them, but I’ll be returning these. Not worth the price to get a bigger size. ... show more
