My wife needed a compact, classic and classy handbag for a work event that was coming up. So she was looking around for something that would fit the bill and be versatile for future use. Of course, we know the Kate Spade brand and think of it as a high quality, but not insanely expansive option. Mind you, this thing ain't cheap at close to $300. But you can obviously spend many multiples of that on other bags from other in-demand brands that are a bit more about being seen with the right logo. Overall, my wife was really pleased with this bag. It's quite simple, but also very classic in its appearance. The leather is very supple and you can tell it's high quality. The zippers and the other various minor metal adornments (which are gold toned) are similarly attractive and feel to be of high quality. This is not a big bag, but it's more than large enough for a phone, wallet and some other sundry items. Perfect, she says, for an evening event. There is also a separate small pocket with a magnetic closure for small items. Maybe a lipstick or something like that. The magnet isn't super strong, but the pocket doesn't have a wide opening, so it doesn't seem things will fall out easily. I just wouldn't put your most valuable items in there -- but that's not the purpose. Finally, the branding is very typical Kate Spade. It's there, but it's relatively understated. That's a personal choice as to whether you like that. My wife is good with it and I don't find it ostentatious at all. So overall, she is very pleased and it'll be her go to for those special occasion needs.

Very pretty muted mint color. Great quality of workmanship (stitching, material, etc) Love the light beige lining (I don’t know why purse designers use black for the lining…can’t find anything when looking inside!!!!) However, I don’t like two stiff-like handles. One of them ALWAYS falls off my shoulder and I’m constantly pulling it back on my shoulder so I don’t look ridiculous. Suggestion for improvement: Either use one handle OR add a small mint color leather fastener that snaps the two handles together. Another design flaw: When digging around for my lipstick in the purse, I get annoyed because I could easily get scratched by the zipper. I have normal size hands, so I am not the problem.

This Kate Spade full grain leather handbag is beautiful and extremely well made. My wife is 5"1 and it hangs comfortably along her side a perfect distance from her shoulder to not interfere with her normal movements, as can be seen in the photo. It's of very high quality, as can be expected in a designer bag. It is also deceivingly roomy inside. She normally carries a much larger Coach bag. It is nowhere near full. But she had no problem whatsoever transferring her essential items to this bag, with plenty of room to spare. It has a side pocket inside. The entire interior is sueded leather of a very fine nap. It appears like a Nubuck leather, though I didn't see that referenced. It's very soft and elegant. The bag zips up securely with a very well-made metal zipper with a large pull. It has a very convenient side pocket which is somewhat hidden when closed. It is large enough for her phone in its folding case. This is closed with a magnetic clasp. Overall, this is an excellent bag. The color is very neutral, and it will go with a wide range of outfits. It definitely deserves a solid five stars.

I love this bag so much!! It's so great, especially for daytime events. The leather is luxe, and it's petite looking but still holds a lot. I'm pretty sure I could fit a plastic water bottle in here. This is really a beautiful, well designed purse. It has a little envelope pocket on the outside so you can easily access your phone.

This is a lovely, fashionable and luxurious Kate Spade handbag/purse. The fabric is 100% cow leather with a suede lining inside. My wife is very happy lol. You can choose between black or taupe. She got black. The black has a taupe colored suede lining inside. It is 12" in length and about 5" height (minus straps). The straps are about 13" long. There is and external pocket on the front of the purse and one internal pocket inside about big enough to put your phone. This purse would make any lady happy!!
