kate spade new york’s “Women's Hudson Pebbled Leather Convertible Crossbody,” is such a beautifully made small shoulder/crossbody bag, which is big enough to hold my essentials such as my smartphone, a slim ID Card Wallet, keys, lipstick, and a pocket size tissue. The pebble leather is buttery soft and smooth to the touch, and seems very durable. With proper care, this will last a long time. The zippers opens and closes easily and securely. The straps are just the right size to wear either as a shoulder bag or as a crossbody. This bag will look great to wear either dress up or dress down. This will also make for an excellent bag for traveling since this can turn into a crossbody, freeing your hands and securing your stuff in front of you while you’re sightseeing or shopping. Definitely well worth the asking price. As small-format, formal or dressy purses go, this Hudson from Kate Spade New York is beautiful! Every detail is flawless as is the pebbled leather. It includes both a short strap and a crossbody strap, and the mechanism of the strap clips is very secure, so however you choose to setup a strap, it's gonna stay put. The strap edges are sealed for the smooth edge look. The inside lining and tags are all perfectly done, and it seems that this purse received the kid glove treatment from start to finish. A presentation and storage bag is included folded up inside, as you'd expect, so you can keep it protected when you're not using it. Size-wise, this purse is big enough to store a modern smart phone, lip sticks, keys, and some small odds and ends, but it's not going to hold a big multi-card/checkbook combo wallet or anything that bulky, assuming you wish to zip it closed. It's perfectly sized for those formal occasions involving dinner and a show or a night on the town. If you're purchasing this as a gift for someone else, do be aware that it does arrive in packed-to-ship format, not in retail box. The straps, zipper pulls, makers logo tab, and all the other elements come in individually wrapped loops of protective soft foam sheeting, the presentation and storage bag is inside the purse with the second strap, and the whole thing comes in a sealed clear plastic poly bag. It is 110% protected from all imaginable warehouse wear & tear, and impressively so, but if you're gifting it and the recipient is the fancy formal type, you might want to do the unwrapping process and then place it into the presentation bag, or you might want to carefully unzip it enough to get the presentation bag out and just leave all the protective elements on as you put it into the bag. It is abundantly clear that the Kate Spade brand's commitment to quality remains exceptionally strong, and this purse is a valuable addition to the wardrobe right next to that perfect pair of pumps and the LBD.

This is a nicely made purse. For me, I consider this bag to on the larger size of one that I would use. That being said, it can hold a lot. It's got a zipper pocket on one exterior side and another with magnetic closer on the opposite side. There is also an inside pocket. The longer strap is perfect length to use as a crossbody. It is pebbles leather, not smooth at all. A dust bag is included. It only comes in a plastic bag so something to think about if gifting.

I like this way more than I anticipated. I wear it cross body and it is the perfect size. I don't like a bag too big or it pulls on my neck. This is perfect for a night out or running to the store. It has nice firm sides so nothing falls out. The zipper is good quality and so is the inside fabric so I don't feel like it is going to fall apart. This is a fantastic fall bag.

This black Kate Spade bag is perfect. I love the size. It is not large, but definitely big enough for my essentials. It will easily carry my keys, wallet, and phone with no problem. It keeps everything compact, but does has a divider for keeping things separate and easy to locate. I keep my phone inside one compartment for easy access. The strap length is adjustable for a perfect fit. The zipper is smooth and well-sewn and keeps your items securely concealed inside the bag, while a magnetic latch secures the second compartment. Everything comes protected and scuff-free. This bag is gorgeous and handy. It would make a terrific gift for any woman or teen, and would make a nice treat for yourself too!

This is a beautiful, classic black purse. I love Kate Spade and a girl can never have too many Kate Spade bags. It came wrapped in Kate Spade plastic, with each piece of the purse (strap, zipper, logo) protected in Styrofoam like you'd get at the Kate Spade store. The cloth protectant bag was zipped inside of the purse. I love that it can be used with a tiny strap over the shoulder or with a long strap as a crossbody. The inside is decently sized to fit plenty, and I love the back compartment is magnetic. This is a beautiful black leather purse, and I'm super happy with this purchase!

This purse is really nice and the perfect size for a small purse. Would easily fit a wallet, phone, and your daily items. The leather is soft and high quality, as expected of Kate Spade. It came packed well, with all of the proper tissue paper and foam padding to protect the embellishments. It also came with a purse bag, which is a must. Overall a great purse to use every day. Very versatile since you can use the regular handbag strap but it also has a drop strap!
