Slight stitching flaw in the front face of the box near the zipper. A diagonal stitch line connects top and bottom trim lines. Would have preferred the line to be hidden or placed off to the side at the edge of the zipper rather than facing the opening. Do not expect to find flaws on designer items. As a jewelry box, the interior is spacious enough to hold a good sized watch or several bracelets. Eight ring slots and two deep compartments for necklaces or earrings are also inside. Alternatively, necklaces can also be attached to fasteners under the lid or stored in the elastic pouch.     • Necklaces get tangled
While I love Kate Spade and I figured that it was quality, which it is, it isn't a great product for travel. The necklace holders are small and does not hold them in place. They then get tangled. I had to put a piece of card board in front of the necklace portion to keep them in place. The bracelet portion is also too small. I have since ordered another design and it seems to do the trick. This jewelry box is very cute but I am not sure it is authentic. It would be a very cool/ nice dupe for the price, but it is listed as a genuine kate spade. The tag is very obviously not authentic, the dimensions are off, and the suede material feels rough and cheap, not like other Kate Spade jewelry boxes I have. Also the box is a very thin/cheap linen material, rather than the crossgrain leather that was released for this style/pattern of jewelry box by Kate Spade.
