Features

  • 165Hz Refresh Rate Pushing beyond the standard 144Hz, 165Hz gives gamers an edge in visibility as frames transition instantly, leaving behind no blurred images.
  • Fast 2ms Response Time Playing fast action games and watching action adventure movies always require fast and accurate pixel response from an LED. With quick response times, ghosting and blurring are reduced so the user can enjoy the display with clarity and precision.
  • AMD FreeSync With FreeSync, gamers now enjoy smooth video and seamless on the spot movement through their fast paced games. FreeSync is an AMD technology that nearly eliminates tearing and stuttering due to differences between a graphics card's frame rate and a monitor's refresh rate.
  • IPS Panel The IPS (In-Plane Switching) panel cannot be beat when it comes to consistently delivering top color performance and sharp visibility from multiple viewing angles.
  • Edgeless Design Edgeless Design completely immerses you in all the captivating action and wondrous scenery that 1080P resolution and 165Hz refresh rate have to offer.

  • Seems indestructible
Style: IPS 24" 165Hz
I buy a lot of items from Amazon but don’t review many items. This monitor deserves a review. Honestly the best monitor for the price and way better than other ones more expensive. 120hz for gaming, 1ms response time, picture is crystal clear and gameplay is smooth. Also this thing is indestructible, I’ve dropped it more than 5 times while moving my desk and it never broke. Perfect size for gamers whether you play competitively or causally. ... show more

  • It's actually an excellent monitor.
Style: IPS 24" 165Hz
I've been using this for a few days now, overall it's a great product (especially on sale at $120). I'm glad I took the chance on a brand I've never heard of. Rumor has it that this monitor is using the same panel as some $200 monitor sold by ASUS, which is what really sold me on trying an unknown brand. This is replacing an older 60Hz TN monitor for me, and I've only used TN panels (It's been a long time since I bought a monitor). So maybe take this with a grain of salt. I've also been using the monitor defaults for testing it out. Pros: No frills or gimmicks. Just a monitor that displays an image. On the back every video input is clearly labeled like in the image, and says exactly what version of HDMI each port supports. Instead of guessing, or looking up the manual. Bezel is almost non-existent. Stand is made out of metal, just a nice touch. Color quality is excellent out of the box, I haven't even bothered calibrating colors yet. Blacks are actually black. Whites are blinding, but white. Blue really pops, Red and Green seem good but don't pop as much as blue. The color quality between the TN panels and IPS is night and day better. General image quality is crisp and clear. Text looks crisp, I'm noticing minor details in shadows from movies and games I couldn't see before. The DPI on this monitor seems much higher than my previous TN. Or its just the difference between how TN and IPS pixels are made? Image quality in motion is excellent. By default the Overdrive setting is set to "Medium" and it has some very minor ghosting visible in the Blur Busters test, but I haven't noticed any ghosting at all while playing any games, even FPS games. I have no idea what the response time is when overdrive is set to medium, but it seems low enough to not think about. I actually forgot I hadn't changed it until typing this. 165Hz over Display Port is a nice bonus. Adaptive Sync works as expected, even on an Intel GPU. On Intel Arc the "Variable Refresh Rate Range" supports 48Hz - 165Hz. Though IIRC FreeSync is supposed to support as low as 30Hz. This may just be an Intel support issue. Cons: The monitor is scary thin. The top half of the monitor is basically just a plastic cover for the back of the panel. There is no structure holding the top half of the panel. I'm worried I'm going to bend the panel when adjusting the tilt. On one hand it's really impressive how thin this monitor is, on the other hand it just feels very fragile. Bending your screen while adjusting the tilt would have to be the most stupid way of breaking your monitor of all time. If it falls over somehow, it's 100% going to damage the panel. There's just no structure protecting the panel IMO. Perhaps on the next version Sceptre should add a little structural rigidity for peace of mind. Stand is comically short. Though it is quite wide so it isn't tipping over easily. PS Shout out to the seller, who shipped immediately. The package arrived like 5 days early. I had to sign for it, so FedEx didn't just leave my brand new monitor on the porch. Which I appreciate. ... show more

  • Best monitor in this class for the price!
Style: IPS 24" 165Hz
The colors of this monitor are fantastic. The brightness of this monitor is fantastic. The refresh rate and response time of this monitor are fantastic. The fact it has two HDMI and two DisplayPort inputs (four total) is fantastic. The fact that it has an audio-out jack and not a headphones jack is fantastic because it lets you use bigger speakers for sound output (the built-in speakers are tinny and sound worse than a cheap Windows laptop). Then you factor in the low price and go: "Wow!" My only nitpick is the menu buttons are on the back of the monitor so they're not the easiest to use; but after my initial configuration the only time I use them are to change inputs. ... show more

  • Very nice monitor
Style: IPS 24" 165Hz
The picture quality is amazing and very nice. Very smooth gameplay. Only downside are the speakers. They don't sound the best so I had to plug in external speakers. Otherwise very good monitor for the price

  • 1 year review— Still great.
Style: IPS 24" 165Hz
I was in the market for another monitor for my gaming setup. I found this one while it was on sale and the appearance caught my eye, since it had almost no bezel and looked pretty slim and sleek. I decided to purchase it while it was on sale at the time, and now a year later it was still a great investment. The performance has been great quality for what I need. The only thing you will be sacrificing is the sound quality with the built in speakers, but for me that was not a problem as I have my own sound system in place, or almost always have my headphones on. Now if you don’t have another plan in place for upgrading the sound quality by using another stereo system option or headphone option than I would reconsider before ever buying this monitor. With that said, no regrets with purchasing this monitor, even a year later. ... show more

  • I <3 Sceptre so far
Style: IPS 24" 165Hz
I have a 32" 165 hz 1440p curved monitor and I love it. I also have a 32"1080p 165hz curved and a 24" 1080p 144hz. Be warned if your an older gamer and thinking going up to 32" 1440p will help it does not. 1440P is harder to see small details then 1080p. I love the 32inch because I play not only shooters but MMO's and I watch a ton of videos and movies on my off screen. I have had Sceptre for a few years now with ZERO issues. My games look vibrant and the curve becomes unnoticeable within minutes. Could not be happier for the price. I play games like CoD, CS:Go, Rust, Ark, Star Citizen, V Rising, No Mans Sky, Soulmask, BDO, Wow and even Everquest so there is a huge range of games including fast twitch shooters and I still put up good numbers as an old fart on a huge screen using a thumball... Thank you Sceptre for putting out cheap but quality products. ... show more

  • Very Solid Monitor.
Style: IPS 24" 165Hz
I mainly got this monitor as I've bought a Sceptre before and I really liked it and I also needed a basic display that was FHD 144hz for my Xbox Series S. It works perfectly with my Xbox and runs 120Hz on it. My games run much smoother with the higher FPS. This was also a very good deal for a monitor like this (IPS 24" 144hz) [I got it for ~$108]. Only thing I would complain about is there isn't much manipulation as the stand doesn't move at all, but I can't complain when it was relatively cheap. ... show more
