kate spade new york Yours Truly Pave Heart Studs These are small stud earrings measuring about 1/4” from the base to the tip. The front is a small pave-style shape, and the backing is a standard post with a butterfly clutch. The backing itself is slightly larger than the front and is shaped like a heart. At first glance, these are quite small, and the pave stones are too tiny to distinguish individually. Instead of seeing separate stones, it reads more as a cluster of sparkle. In practice, they are very bright and catch the light well, and they look more attractive in person than expected. The finish is clean, with smooth edges and no rough spots. The stones appear to be set securely and don’t look like they will fall out easily. The backing is a standard style rather than a flat back, which I usually prefer for comfort, but this one is still comfortable enough to wear during the day without issue. These earrings are very lightweight, and I can hardly tell they're in since they're so small and light. I like these for a piercing in the top of my ear, when I want something very sparkly but not large enough to dangle or get caught on anything. For the size, these are a bit more subtle than they might appear in photos, but they make up for it with how sparkly they are. These Kate Spade earrings are absolutely gorgeous. I love that they're from a brand I recognize and I trust for quality. I reviewed the Gold Girlie Pearlie Bow version. The earrings themselves are on the smaller side, but I find that to be a plus, as it makes them very versatile. I can wear them every day. They fit securely and are comfortable. I can sometimes react to jewelry, but I found that I had no trouble wearing these. The piece itself is very smooth and feels gentle against the skin. At the price point, I would say it's reasonable given it's from a premium brand name. These would make an adorable gift as well. ... show more

The Kate Spade New York Girlie Pearlie Mini Bow Studs are really, really TINY (1/4 inch wide). I was a little shocked when I opened the packaging and first saw them, because the photos illustrating the listing are a little misleading. I prefer chunky jewelry myself, but my granddaughter is delighted with these. They are a good choice as a gift for a young girl, appropriate in both size and shape. The earrings are very delicate, but quite plain. I had to use a magnifying glass to examine them closely, and only then could I make out the knot in the bow. What I could not find was the 0.05 carat cubic zirconia listed in the product description, which also indicates the metal is brass with a silver-colored plating. The list price is standard for this product, as it comes from a premium brand. Personally I don’t think it’s a very good value given that it is not 725 silver, or even silver plated. ... show more

I have tons of earrings and yet I am really bad about wearing them. My holes close up all the time because of this. I was looking for dainty little earrings that I could wear on a daily basis that I’m not worried about losing if they fall out. These fit the bill perfectly. They’re really really understated and are decent enough quality that they don’t look cheap. But they are kind of cheap so I’m not scared of actually wearing them. I could see myself wearing these with just about anything. I also especially really love the back of them. The back is in the shape of a heart which is super cute. I love little details like that. I have a couple of friends that I actually think would really like them and I’m thinking about ordering a couple more pair.
