I bought these in gold and love them. I ordered them in silver and both posts are bent. I'm not sure what happened here, but I imagine that shipping these in a paper envelope is probably why both posts are bent. I am returning them. Beautiful. Great quality as always. I love that the posts are the rounded ones as opposed to the new flat posts that seem to cut into my ears and make slits. I quit wearing anything like that awhile ago. I’ve worn in the shower and even to sleep in and they’re super comfortable. Posts aren’t too long. This is the first time, since I started writing Amazon reviews, that I’ve come across an item that actually looks better “in person” than the photo provided by the seller. So I had to provide a photo of the actual earrings to show how good they actually look. The backings of the earrings hold them tightly to my wife’s ears and she isn’t worried that they will fall out and get lost. It is also easy to remove the backings of the earrings and they slide on and off easily. The earring backs are in the shape of a heart. This is a review of the Kate Spade double knot stud earrings. I have been a fan of Kate Spade products for many years so I was looking forward to getting these earrings. I like the look of “simple but elegant” so this is just the style I like. I have mixed feelings about them. They are very pretty - I have attached a photo so you can see their size and what they look like. Do realize that these really are very small. My main critique would be that these stud earrings have a very short stick/posts - I have never had this much trouble putting in earrings before. Once I do have them attached, they are difficult to remove as well. So my feelings are mixed; these are pretty and elegant but I had a lot of trouble securing them on my ears. ... show more

I'm a huge Kate Spade fan, but haven't really worn much jewelry from the line before, so decided to try these out and I am very happy with them. Beauty: These are so pretty - I love that they're subtle (not crazy sparkly or dangly or anything), but still unique looking. They look expensive and professional. Comfort: These are comfortable enough to sleep in (which I frequently do), although they are not listed as waterproof, so if I wear them to shower and for days without taking out, they do get a little bit of buildup on the post. It wipes off easily, so hasn't been an issue for me. Wearability: I wear these with everything since they're dressy enough for work but casual enough for the playground. The only thing that I struggled with a little bit was the size of the back - it's a really cute little heart back but it's quite large so for someone with multiple piercings, it took a little maneuvering to get the back on without bumping the back of my second earring. ... show more
