This is a great sized ornament that is solid and heavy! The finish is nice and glossy and smooth. The paint is well done and all uniform. Every stroke looks intention and in the right spot! This is a nicely finished ornament but I would not call it a fine piece of artwork or a collector's item. The hand painted details aren't precise, but they are acceptable. I got this ornament because I collect cat ornaments, not fine china. This ornament is bigger than I expected, a little over 4" tall, so it is suitable for use on a full size tree, or in my case a slim, tall tree. It is not suitable for use on a miniature tree.
