When we pulled the mirror out of the box, it was surprisingly lightweight. Upon examination we found that the wood frame really isn't wood but rather a composite of who knows what. We hung it on the wall with the only 2 screws it hangs; but it doesn't lie flat against the wall, the bottom of the mirror bounces away from the wall as the top metal frame it hangs on doesn't allow it to hang flat against the wall. (We've decided to add some coat hooks to the bottom of the frame that will actually go through it and into the wall for added security). For the price of this mirror, we are pretty disappointed that it isn't better quality!!! I would not buy this mirror again. ... show more

Let's get this out the way- as others mentioned, the finish on this mirror isn't perfect. And it's not a "rustic" finish. No. It's just a quick job that's mass-produced, so the paint never made its way to the edges, hence the brown natural wood color is still exposed if you purchase the black as I did. Mine wasn't as bad as others have shown in their pictures, so I kept it and didn't paint over it. Pros - comes very well packaged, ready to install, right out of the box. Sturdy, and mine didn't have any issues with misalignment. Looks great on the wall, and fits the farmhouse theme. Cons- Quality of the paint on mine is a 4 out of a 5. This mirror is the fairest of them all... j/k it's a mirror. I bought it to go with a bathroom vanity that had a sliding door, so this was going to match it. had to return the vanity due to a defect but kept the mirror because I liked it.
