Kate makes great quality and this orange one has a nice subtle transition from center to edges. I got orange because I already have the usual standard backgrounds for headshots and wanted something bright to use for models wearing bold colors or for photographing food or fire. I've bought a few Kate backgrounds and I love that the large hem and that on the back of the hem they print a small picture of what the background is. That's very handy if you have a box full of folded backgrounds to be able to quickly find what you're looking for. I hope they introduce more options and more subtle patterns and smoother transitions. 'm not a fan of some of the patterns on some of the other colors. This was the backdrop chosen for our photos after ordering 2 different backdrops. This backdrop was a good contrast to the white dresses worn for the photo opp. Our brown skin looked fabulous with this backdrop. Negative issue was that it arrived very wrinkled. This product is decent. It’s easy to steam out any wrinkle or crease and I think I can get some great shots out of it. However, I am a bit disappointed in what I received vs what the picture shows. I was expecting a more orange/yellow sunburst kind of color. What I received has waaay more red in it and the yellows are more of an orange. I don't have much of a complaint when it comes to this orange background. The fabric is nice, and the orange color is vibrant and wonderful for what I need. Only thing I don't like are the folds. It's wrinkle-free for the most part, but the folds are bothersome. I usually put the backdrop in the dryer on high setting for about ten minutes. Gets rid of the folds mostly, and the fabric falls more smoothly without the creases. Other than that, the backdrop is fantastic. I highly recommend getting this color. ... show more

Nice purple/black colors. This is my third attempt, and I'm keeping this one. Previously, I bought two with blue backgrounds, both of which had stitching issues. However, this one is a keeper. I have a small home studio and use 107" seamless. I decided that I'd like to use printed backdrops for a few projects so I bought this Kate backup to try as it was so affordable. I liked the look of it when I took it out of the bag it came in. The colors were what I expected, the quality was more than I expected and it has a sewn top that my backdrop bar easily slides through to hold it. It was creased from having been folded for shipping, so I ironed it as per Kate's direction. Didn't help at all. Then I washed it and put it into the dryer on low as per the instructions on the website. No help. Then I put it on my stand for over a week. Nope. Finally I used a tip I found on YouTube and used a spay bottle to wet the creases. Then, as a last resort, I put it back into the dryer on high heat. It worked! It's not perfect, but its certainly good enough. It also helps that in addition to hanging it, I have used A clamps from my backdrop stand to the cloth to stretch it out horizontally. One last note... When I just couldn't get the wrinkles out, I sent a note to Kate's through their website. That was a week ago and no response. ... show more
