Each tool is high quality, with nice attention to detail. We were surprised that the line cutters on the pliers even cut braided line. The scissors are sharp, and have a fine serration. Everything feels solid. The filet knife is sharp out of the box. I did receive this product for free as part of a promotion, but I think it's a good buy at this price.

It includes a very sharp knife and a sheath for filleting the fish, a fish gripper, a pair of scissors, and a pair of fishing pliers with a line cutter. There are lanyards on the scissors, fish gripper, and the pliers, so they won't get lost, and they attach to your pants when fishing 🎣. The tools are rust-resistant, and the filet knife is razor sharp. Great price on this all-in-one fishing kit!

I bought both these sets to compare, because they were the same price. I expected the 2pc set to be proportionally higher quality, but I did not find it to be. KastKing 4pc Set (ASIN: B0F2FQ6CD9) includes: 1) Fillet knife with 7" blade and sheath, 2) 7-inch Pliers, 3) 4.5" Braid scissors, 4) 8.5" Lip grip tool (↑ This item) KastKing 2pc Set (ASIN: B0B77J4NBD) includes: 1) 7.5" pliers, 2) 4.5" braid scissors COMPARING PLIERS The 7.5" pliers in the 2pc set did not have longer jaws. They were identical jaw length to the 7" pliers. Only the handle is longer. The 7.5" handle was of different material. I preferred the grip and feel of the 7" pliers, which also had a smoother opening action. The cases were both the same quality with basic plastic belt clip. The 7.5" case was longer and fully covered the pliers, but was harded to get the tool in and out. WINNER: 7" Pliers from 4pc set (for better handle and smoother action) COMPARING SCISSORS The scissors were virtually identical. The scissors from the 2pc set had a slightly thicker metal, but didn't seem to make much difference. Both were the same size and had good cutting action. I preferred the handle material on the scissors from the 4pc set, and the 4pc set scissors also included a cover, which I really appreciated. Very surprised the 2pc set did NOT include a cover. WINNER: Scissors from 4pc set (for having the cover) THE FILLET KNIFE I'll be honest, the fillet knife is junk. I didn't want it, which is why I bought the 2pc set for same price, thinking it should have twice as good of pliers and scissors. It did not, so I'm keeping this 4pc set and will have a cheap "free" fillet knife. The handle is nice. The blade is cheap steel. It comes fairly sharp, but I don't expect it to hold an edge well. The blade is very flexible. The edge guard sheath I really don't like. The cover clips on very loosely and feels like it'll fall off. THE LIP GRIPS Not an item I was after, but may be useful for fish with teeth. They are nearly 100% plastic with very small metal pins as joints. The plastic quality seems decent, but not sure they'll hold up long. They do have a sort of spring lock mechanism similar to vice grip pliers. They have good clamping force. OTHER OBSERVATIONS Both sets included a coiled metal (with plastic coating) lanyard with small metal clip, to attach to your pants so as not to drop the pliers. I don't find it useful, but some might. I noted the small metal carabiner with the 4pc set was better quality though. FINAL CONCLUSION Given both sets were the same price, and neither tool in the 2pc set was better quality, the 4pc set is a far better value. I even ended up keeping it when all I really wanted was the pliers and scissors, given that there are very few other options that were sold separately around the same price. For a fillet knife, I really liked the Dexter 6" Sofgrip with blade guard that I purchased at the same time and will be my primary fillet knife.

Every tool in this set is solid, made very well. The split ring spike on the end of the pliers comes in handy, especially for those smaller split rings on crankbaits. The knife is exceptionally sharp right out of the box. The fish grips clamp well and are a good size. I have smaller hands and I can operate it one handed no problem. The scissors are nice to have hanging around your neck for when you need them. The grips on all of these tools are fantastic, and very non slip when you have wet and sweaty hands. Each of these tools come in handy and for the price you can’t beat it. I would recommend this set

Value for money: 4 tools for $25 is cheap. Quality is high and it come in Kastking signature logo. Everything has sheath for safety. The knife blade is bendable for filets, the scissors and multitools is sharp enough to easily cut thru a braided line. Highly recommend! 👍🏻

Awesome products! Nicely packaged, suitable for a gift. Everything is super sharp! The scissors blasts through braid and the filet knife cut like a razor blade. Pliers are very handy and everything has a lanyard or something to help you keep track of them.
