Excellent castability, low memory and almost invisible underwater. I typically use a San Diego Jam knot and my experience with thin line is that it snaps when you tighten the line, this line is strong and not brittle. I also notices that the line has almost no stretch. I am going to try the 10lb as a leader for my Crappie fishing. The Kovert is a great value for the price and would highly recommend.

I’m using this line on a light-weight setup, casting unweighted plastic jerk baits. I needed to fine tune my bait casting reel a little, but it did not take much time to get it dialed in. The line is not brittle and does everything else I would expect.

I received the line I ordered today. Before loading a spool, i measured the diameter because the line looked very thin for 15 lb test fluorocarbon. The box said 15 lb test should have a diameter of 0.35". Using my digital calipers, the line measured between 0.28" and 0.30". I used two different digital calipers and both measured diameters significantly smaller than 0.35". See pictures. Here are pictures of the measurement and the box. Before writing this review, I measured other brand fishing line I have in the shop and it measured exactly as advertised for that line. I tried to contact the company through Amazon's product return process over a week ago. Even though their mail bot acknowledged my inquiry, there has been no response. I was thinking about buying other gear from Kast King, reels and perhaps a rod, but not any more.

I have seen some strength test regarding Fluorocarbon line and Monofilament. I will test the Floroucarbon line at some point this summer. Just wasn't sold on the line after watching Youtube! I'll update next season once it's been used.
