This knife is well balanced and super sharp. The handle might be a bit thick for some people but the grip feel is so good that it makes up for it. There will be no problem handling this and maneuvering to make the perfect cut and filet. I have used this for fileting and for trimming brisket. In each case it worked perfect and allowed me to make the perfect cuts I wanted to get the most out of my selected cuts. The knife itself is a beautiful design with the orange handle and black blade.
