This set is a great value. I've been looking for a quality pair of pliers that I could have ready. These fit the bill great. They are sturdy, lightweight, and the handles are non-slip. The only issue with the pliers is the holder. The clip that attaches to your belt doesn't have a good lip on it to keep it attached to your belt, so it will come off if you'r in a hurry pulling the pliers out, which tends to happen every time I catch a fish and go to remove the hook. The filet knife is great. It's a large knife that's flexible, like I want in a filet knife. However, it doesn't come very sharp, so I had to spend some time sharpening it. The other issue with the knife was that the tip is not sharpened. It looks like they made it that. way on purpose, but it does get in the way of filleting fish. I used it to cut up some slot redfish I caught and it did an okay job of it, but its weaknesses definitely shined through as well. Hope this helps you to make an informed decision! ... show more

The pliers and the knife are great for the price. The only complaint I gave with the pliers is the holster doesn't lock on to a belt very well. When you pull the pliers out the holster wants to come with them.
