    • A couple of issues, but rather well made
Straight out, I did not buy this for batting. I bought this as a cost effective cover for my raised garden beds. My biggest issue is chickens getting into my plants (usually trying to lay eggs) and ruining my vegetables. This was an elegant and cost-effective solution. It was reasonably easy to assemble. A couple of tings were not spelled out and detail, but after looking at the pieces, I was able to figure it out. All of the tubes are labeled clearly. That being said, there are some issues. First, in some of the listing photos, there clearly is a bottom frame member at the entrance end, in addition to the carrying bar. Mine did not have that bar. Second, there is a lot of "sloppiness" in the frame joints making the whole thing wobble and sway. I fixed that by drilling the tubes and using bolts to tighten the joints. Finally, the precision of the tube lengths is inconsistent. Some bars can vary by as much as an inch, so you sometimes need to swap bar combinations around so their combined length are consistent. These are issues, not big enough that I would not buy another. In fact, we are looking about getting another one to make big pen for our chickens. ... show more
