Excellent Product. We purchased this in 2021 to start getting our son into baseball, and it gave us a heads up because this product is perfect for his age group. It allowed to practice with this cage in our shop at our house during the winter months. The length was just long enough that allowed us to get 40ft from pitches mound to home plate. A bit late in writing this review but I’d like to share my experience with this product. I ordered this product last year at the beginning of COVID so my 12yr old son could hit baseballs outside - and it was perfect! We even had a team practice (socially distanced of course) using the cage. The setup requires at least two people and it was a bit tricky to get all the poles up - also, the string ties that are included were a bit flimsy so I purchased a few ratchet ties for the ends. The longer length and height of the cage worked well to be able to see the ball flight. I really enjoyed this product - until an early winter ice storm came and collapsed the structure along with most of the poles - I don’t blame this on this on the construction of the product (I don’t think it was designed to hold heavy snow/ice on top of leaves that had fallen on the structure - I’ve also had a cage that cost thousands of dollars that had a similar issue (with 1.5” poles completely bending). I’ve learned my lesson to disassemble the cage in the winter-time - and am considering ordering a new one (when back in stock) for this spring/summer season - for $400 bucks (which is about 8 hours of cage rental time around here) it’s a great value. ... show more

UPDATE “ my daughter has shattered every pole to the point duct tape won’t work and the poles have torn the plastic they go through. I cannot reach anyone and have emailed chatted. PLEASE SOMEONE CONTACT ME AS this has been three months now and it’s just laying on the ground. “ Pretty easy to set up. The poles were easy to assemble. Some of the pins were not easy to get in bottom of poles. A lot easier to put pin in bottom and then assembled lower pole. You will see what I mean. Other hint. Makes sure you check your flat area first for home plate before you decide where the opening to get in and out will be. Also buy a pop up lscreen and use a cement block for anchor. I am also wearing my catchers mask when pitching softtoss. Watch were you softtoss from, The ball sometimes comes of top of net. Otherwise this thing is awesome. Daughter loves it and won’t come out. Especially being stuck at home the next few weeks. Hope everyone stays safe! Update... You need 5 feet around the entire set up for support cables. Net is awesome.. Some suggestions... Duct tape poles that go in roof sleeves as the ball hits the poles they come apart. We put the entrance on the opposite side of hitting and put a bow net on outside, helps work on line drive focus through the hole. Buy yourself some good tent spikes helps with balls not getting out underneath. When you first open the box you will wonder why you need the extra screen balls will cut the screen after its hit in same spot time after time. We have had this for 8 weeks and I would def buy it again. We have probably hit 150/200 balls a day and it holds up. We use the side for pitching backstop and it actually works well. ... show more

Don't want to give a bad review yet cause I'm sure it can be fixed. Does anyone have the customer service number? Got the net all set up and when pulled to raise the net 2 cheap fiberglass poles snapped. I need to get ahold of them for 2 new poles and 1 steel pipe

    • Great for a large backyard
This was easy to assemble with 2 people. We staked it down using T-posts so it wouldn't bend in the wind. It does need a lot of tying down to make it sturdy against the wind. Been using for a couple of weeks and does the job. No signs of wear and tear yet.

We purchased the cage for our 14 year old softball pitcher. It is large enough for her to pitch. Definitely serves it's purpose.
