This product is well made for the cost. The cardboard is sturdy & durable. The checkers do not always stack very well but this isn’t a big deal to me. Today we aren’t going to find products as well made as when we were children. That’s just a fact. I played checkers as a child & enjoyed playing it with my father. I am now a senior. I purchased this for my fiance & me. We enjoy playing checkers several times a week. I highly recommend this product.

Fun to play

This is a very cheap version of the game so I expected the quality to be low.... and it is. But with that said I still have had fun playing the game with my kids. The board is very weak and warped and the pieces do not lock onto each other very well when stacked as a king. But for a first-time training version of the game for my kids, it will be just fine for now. Consider taking a look at thrift stores to see if they have stacks of used checkers for cheaper and probably better quality too.
