Features

  • Made in Japan
  • Multiple Layer Leather Tip
  • Clear Layer Prevents Glue Absorbtion In Tip

Description

Kamui Clear Features: Achieve further consistency by limiting the glue absorbed into the bottom layers of the tip. No sanding of the bottom layer is needed. Easy installation due to the flat surface of the glue side. Minimal amount of glue guarantees a perfectly aligned installation to achieve the designed tip and cue performance. For installation, use liquid base super glue such as Tiger Insta-Cure Glue in order to maximize the adhesion to the Kamui Clear tip. Using the gel type super glue tends to be too thick resulting in longer drying time and a weak bond.

    • Nice Tip!
I installed this on a friend's cue, who is a softer shooter. This tip easily installed. I did use 120 grit sandpaper on the bottom of the tip, and the top of the Farrell. I used 15 second cue glue. It shaped very easily, with my tip tool. It appears to be great. My friend has been shooting great since I installed it for him. He's breaking with it. I don't recommend that. It will mushroom with it being so soft, even with a medium hardness. ... show more

    • Nice tip but over rated..also problems with adhesion.
This is the first time I've used a tip by this manufacture and the reason for purchasing it was the high reviews. Although a nice tip (and trying to be objective) it's overrate somewhat and overpriced. Additional the tip came off several times while playing, after hard to medium impact. I'm guessing, reason being the bottom of the tip is plastic (I don't know what type) but plastic adheres well with plastic, but not so good with wood. You need much more glue than recommended and have both surfaces very clean, in fact the plastic on the bottom of the tip needs a fine tooth added (sanded). Update: now that I’ve played with this tip for just about a year I wouldn’t buy it again. The plastic on the bottom of the tip that adheres to the cue stick in my opinion adds a shallow sound and shallow hit to the object ball. ... show more

    • First Contact with Cueball
Setting a priority for new player's interested in billiards and consider expenses - yes, you can master the high deflection with mass production cue / tip. Kamui has mastered the compression with this tip, I played decent pool with close games - got the tip and my game multiplied, it will have the same effect on your game. The medium compression gives you the control and finesse, more options for shots. ... show more

    • Freaking love these tips.
Hard to shape but when I used it for the first time I killed it, then back on and off so operator error. But I shoot much more strait.
