These are fantastic boots for kids so much so we're now on our second set. The sizing seems pretty accurate but of course its advised to order at least a size up if not two. We ended up ordering two sizes up our last order to get a little more life out of them. Our 4yo and 7yo absolutely love them and used to them quite frequently on rainy days here in WA state. Tread is great and the durability has been excellent. Outside from normal wear and tear, we had no issues with them. The first set lasted roughly a year and we certainly could have gotten a lot more out of them if it wasn't for growing feet. Now regarding the negative reviews; looking at some of the pictures especially the one with a perfect cut down the middle of the top foot its apparent they were abused.. I mean c'mon now, it looks like someone took a knife to them so take those reviews with a grain of salt. We love these boots, great color selection and for $25 your going to be hard pressed to find a boot this good.

Bought these for my daughter two different times and they are the best rain boots I’ve seen. Sturdy material. Lots of traction on the bottom. Easy to put on and take off. Very breathable.

Everything about these boots screams quality. They are not another mass produced, rebranded item put on Amazon to turn a quick profit. Unlike a few other pairs that we tried, these came in a proper shoe box, labeled well, and packed beautifully. Though they were too big for my son, (I expected they might be, trying a size up), we gifted them to a friend who loves them! They are not soft, flimsy, lightweight boots. They’ve got a robust sole, that appears ready to tackle a lot of use. They also are taller than the others we tried, which for kids playing in mud, and splashing in puddles, is a win. The price was right, and had they fit better, I would’ve preferred my son kept them. Had he not needed boots immediately, I might have exchanged them for his correct size. But I’m glad our friend will enjoy them. He spends a lot of time in his parents garden and is going to get a lot of use out of these!

Have had these for 8 months and used on and off for a 7 yr old boy. He has normal sized feet and they fit nice and maybe even snug or 'perfect'. Not all floppy around like some oversized boot. It makes him want to use/wear the boot more. NO issues with cracking. WE use them as motorcycling boots too since they are stiff enough that they provide some protection. I have done a TON of research and looked at every boot in every store in my town, Bellingham, wa that was available. This is the best for the buck. Good traction, thick, protective, doesn't crack, name brand and fits nice and normal. can wear for hours. All the others had issues like: too thin (easily poke hole), no traction (whats the point? mud? hello!), known for cracking in the bend-zones or ugly or too expensive. The only other option worth considerinng are the brown boots that look like dads big ones. Neoprene boots. They are about 23$ and probably much high quality rubber/neoprene. Sold at lfs. They are thin though. And lower levels of traction on bottom of boot. I may try a pair for my other son to see how it goes. The toe protection allows a kid to kick something pretty harrd and not hurt toes. Thinner boots won't offer the same protectiion. I would buy these again, but wish a local shop provided them so we could get thhe right size everytime. Updated: bought two more sets of these awesome boots for my other kids. Simply love them. Best bang for the buck out there. Period.

My son loves jumping in puddles. These fit him great and they're comfortable for him. He's on the shorter side and the boots come up higher than his last pair from a different brand, but he's still very happy. They look to be made well. There isn't any smell and they don't seem to weigh too much for my 4-year-old. He loves bright colors and these red boots definitely meet the mark. They are versatile and a good value for the money. I love that they are made sustainably. I'm unsure about warmth as we live in Central Texas, but I'm sure with a pair of socks these will be great even in the winter.

Got these for my almost 9 yr old, he says they are a lot heavier than his previous boots. They did well for 2 nature walks in the PNW for winter break camp. Kept his feet dry and had good traction in the mud. I do wish they had a loop or handles on the top so I could have attached them to his backpack vs putting them inside. 4 stars for being heavy & not having a loop/handle.
