I could never find a pair of snow boots that were truly waterproof. These are. The liner keeps my sons feet warm for the most part. We also wear wool socks and he complained about his feet being cold one time while wearing them. We were outside about 2.5 hours with the temp in the twenties (Fahrenheit) with snow on the ground. I would probably buy the thicker liner if you live in colder states. I like that the liner comes out so he can splash in mud and puddles in the spring and summer. ... show more

This is the third pair of these boots that I have bought for my son. We live in New England, and have cold, wet, snowy winters. My son loves to be outside and is very hard on all of his clothes — not only do these boots really LAST, they are ACTUALLY waterproof… Not just a suggestion like some others that I learned the hard way! They’re one piece, solid rubber with no seams, so there’s nowhere for water to leak in. The liner is removable in case some snow gets over the top or whatever, they slide right out to dry. These boots are warm too! They’re made in Canada (not in China) where obviously they know how to deal with cold! Pricing is right in line with other alternatives out there, maybe slightly higher than some, but given the benefits that these Kamiks provide, I will never buy anything else and they’re worth every penny. ... show more
