Totally waterproof and warm! Kamik brand is always great quality. My kids go to nature school and are outside 4-6 hours a day in all weather, and we live in a cold climate (Minneapolis). Great waterproof boots with removable insulated interior. They fit great and have been keeping my nearly 11 yr old daughter’s feet warm when out in this crazy NC snow the last week. She’s been able to walk around easily in them without slipping. Appears to be great quality that’ll last. She’s able to slide them on and off easily. These are great boots for kids. They hold up so well to all the elements of winter, and most importantly in my opinion they are waterproof for those slushy snow days. They have the padded insert to keep your feet warm. They seem well made and my 4 year old can put them on/off on her own which is awesome ! Excellent boots for my 9 year old daughter. We live in Wisconsin so the cold weather and snow are a big factor and these boots are perfect for her. The look of the boots are simple yet clean and stylish. I bought her the charcoal color with blue trim. She is very happy with them and says they are comfortable and they keep her feet warm.     • Awesome boots but watch out for condensation!
Great boots. The third pair I've bought for my kids and I'd buy more. They hold up well and my kids love them. They never complain about cold toes even though temperatures drop to the negative. No wool socks needed. The removable lining is a great concept as it allows the interior to dry overnight. But after being out in cold weather condensation will form between the rubber material and the lining making it get wet. So if you don't take out the lining you'll find the boots wet on the inside the next morning. That is kind of annoying but not a deal breaker. Just something that is important to know so you don't send kids to school in the morning with wet toes. ... show more

I have gotten tired of purchasing new boots every year or so that are not the greatest quality, or are sacrificing in comfort and functionality, for my growing 7-almost-8 year old. If we can even find boots locally (seriously, BIG "if", and yet we live in Wisconsin...still can't figure that one out), they are crappy boots that barely last one whole season and don't always fit him the best, while not exactly being the most inexpensive, either. I have already upgraded to Lands' End for the rest of his winter gear, but boots is just always a tough one. They have to fit right, look right, work right, etc. I will admit these seemed a bit pricey, but in my internet research I found, these were the only decent boots I saw. I am so glad we got them because they are AWESOME! They seem very well made and will be both durable when playing plus water-proof for the elements. Biggest deal for me personally is how well they fit. Fit is huge for us, my son is very picky. Just with shoes. Everything pinches or squeezes, doesn't feel right, look right, again..the same criteria listed before. But, these fit the bill and met all expectations. He is a size 1 in shoes and I purchased a 1 in these as well, and the fit is perfect. They even look good on him, which is hard to come by in a snow boot. From reviews, it seems these can even be used as rain boots by removing the inserts? (Another great bonus - removable inserts!) I bought these Kamik snow boots for my son and he absolutely loves them. I’ve been buying Kamik boots since he was a toddler. We spend a good portion of the year at 10,000 feet in Colorado so great snow boots are a must. They have a built-in snow guard that really helps keep snow from getting into the boots, which is a huge plus when he’s outside playing for long periods.
