  • Best Buy for The JR
Style: Outdoor Living
I love this for my JR. It is well built, sturdy and good looking too. It's the top accessories that I have purchased. If that special someone has a J, buy them this and they will appreciate it.

  • Awesome BBQ!
Style: Outdoor Living
Great BBQ. I also bought the table. My only negative is the styrofoam made a mess and there was a lot of it. IT filled my garbage can. The product is awesome!

  • Quality OEM Stand
Style: Outdoor Living
I like the fact that the stand was produced by Kamado Joe specifically for the Junior model. As others have previously said, it allows the entire grill assembly to be safely moved from place to place and seems well made. The grill fits well in the stand. CONS: NOT made in USA; the assembly instructions are not entirely clear, especially at the first assembly point. The black & white photos in the instruction manual have poor resolution which makes it difficult to start assembly. In my case, I resorted to trial and error to get started with the assembly process. There are several locations that the Allen head screws are very difficult to get started. I have giant hands, so I was forced to utilize the rounded end on the enclosed Allen wrench to eventually secure the screws. Of course, the last screw was the most difficult. Next, placing the grill itself into the stand requires two people. The areas where the ceramic grill actually touches the stand have a felt-type barrier—in four places. Unsure how it will hold up over time. If I end up replacing the felt material, I’ll return to this review and update with the steps I took. Bottom line: you’ll need this stand to effectively use the grill ... show more

  • impossible Tiny Bolts ( 5 minutes each )
Style: Outdoor Living
This thing is a pain to put together. I swear they made this 10x more difficult than it needs to be. Instruction book is lacking with a couple major issues. The print is so dark you cant make out detail in the images. Thats really only an issue at one spot where multiple holes are close together and you cant tell where the current bolt goes. Spent 5 mins trying to figure out the rest of the directions eliminate the wrong holes. Next they dont say to use washers with the bolts for the wheels so youll end up with 4 extra washers at the end and needing to disassemble the wheels. Now for the pain. . . The 8 tiny bolts where they have tension in a tight little corner where you can barely get your fingers in there. Yep its to big for the 90 adapter on my drill to fit. Also to tight for my flex bit to fit in. Well theres also no access hole in the wall opposite the bolt to use the longer allen wrech . Guess im down to the short side of the included allen wrench which I stripped along with the bolts. Well isnt that lovely that with the available space you maybe get a 1/4 turn at a time at most. On top of that, because the 2 pieces you are putting together have tension to pull sideways, you cant really finger tighten them most of the way. 8 bolts was probably 20-25mins at less than a quarter turn at a time. Dropped those little bolts like 10 times trying to get them started. Overall I swear they just shrank the existing design in every direction including shorter and attempted to save costs at every step. The shelves are closer to my knees than my hip. It's usable but oddly low. Like I reviewed the directions a few more times to make sure I assembled correctly. Yep I did, nice. . . The designer /tester must have been 5ft or shorter. Could have been a lot nicer if it was taller and easier to put together. I wouldnt pay the price I did if I had used/seen it ahead of time. If it was at least 5-6 inches taller and easier to assemble it would still be a little overpriced but maybe worth the splurge. ... show more

  • Beautiful stand for my Kamado Joe Jr
Style: Outdoor Living
I found the instructions, while simple and straightforward, were quite intuitive if one takes a few moments to review them carefully before starting. The machine screws, like any machine screw, will fail to screw in if inserted cockeyed. So if you are careful in starting the screw into its place in front of the nut, its a breeze to screw it into its place. My eyes are older and with a few of the screws I had to carefully back out the screw and then carefully reinsert it and begin turning it to seat. I actually found the engineering superb, components well thought out, box extremely well packaged and the final stand, once finished, almost a work of art for my new Kamado Joe Jr. I am happy I purchased the two instead of spending just a little more and getting the next size kamado Joe I with its own stand. Get it. It will make you happy! ... show more

  • Good once it’s assembled
Style: Outdoor Living
I love my Joe jr. Bough the cart, which seems nice. However, they need to invest in better instructions and a video. Many of the screws didn’t fit neatly and had to be forced. Took way too long to assemble for the price point.
