  • Welcome back my friends.....
I felt the Roto tom was always a unique drum back in the 70'ds. When I choose to build my drum set, I wanted to bring them back as my kit grew. I bought 2 sets fashioned in a "V" over edrums. They are fantastic, breaking the mold of today's acoustic set ups.very easy to tune by rotation plus a key and they look awesome!!. I'm a percussionist and adrummer. This was the icing on th set up. By a set for your 5 drums .placed on the right location, they will bring out your set to a new level. I may buy a 3rd set to place behind me since my set is 360 degrees. Come on ,take a chance...........as always, thanks................Donnie P ... show more

  • Good value
Good product for the cost. The stand could be a little more sturdy, but the toms sound good.

  • nice addition to a cheaper set
First, I could have sworn I looked to see where they were manufactured and disappointed when the box said made in china. I tried to look this up on the internet, couldn't find it. Other kalos companies,,, all that being said. the roto toms a pretty nice. I have owned Remo previously and these seem to compare. maybe cheapened a little, but they assy easy, sound great, work like they should. what else do you say. ... show more

  • Delivers the Same Quality Experience as Remo
While it is true that the drum heads don't match up with the "out of the box" experience as Remo Rototoms, the sound is quite good and the heads are affordable enough to replace with Remo pinstripes, etc. The quality of the stand appears to be very good so far and the drums themselves are delivering the same experience as I've always had with Remo Rototoms of the past. I highly recommend this product as a VERY inexpensive way to expand your drum kit range and experience. ... show more

  • Kalo Roto Tom Set 5 Stars for Quality
I am a novice on musical instruments because I'm just starting out and these drums didn't work out for me and I had to return them, that being said......I gave this product 5 Stars for workmanship and quality, they were easy to put together, they looked and felt sturdy and the chrome was beautifully done on the stand plus the stand had a nice spread at the leg base. The only reason I returned this item is because there were no sides or bottoms to the drums and the crossbar where they mount could have been a little longer so that the drums wouldn't be so bunched up, in my case each drum was touching each other just so they would fit on the crossbar. I think overall they are great instruments and manufactured beautifully and 5 stars to the seller and the manufacturer. ... show more

  • Great price, great sound
The price is good, and they are built sturdy. They sound great and you can tune them as you play. They came with a 6” 8” 10” heads and a sturdy stand. I bought these for myself to add to my Bongos and Congos, my son plays Rock and Roll with a full drum set, but now he s wanting a set of these roto toms. ... show more

  • Why spend $200 or more?
Absolutely worth the money! Very tight, crisp notes. Easy to put together. I'm a big fan of long drum fills, and this equipment fits with my high end kit. I normally buy high end everything, this time I decided to try a different brand name to see what cheaper would sound like. I was very impressed. No reason to spend $200 on a name brand set of roto-toms, these sound just as good at half the price. If you are a heavy handed player, I might recommend buying extra heads. Mine are holding up, but no longer so pretty after 18 hours of practices. ... show more
