For some background, I'm a sunglasses addict. I wear them pretty much all day, every day, for most of the year. At one point I even became a Kaenon dealer to support my habit of wearing $200 glasses. Life changes though and I'm no longer a dealer and after losing $400 worth of glasses in the river something had to give. I've settled on Optic Nerve's as my 'nice' glasses at ~$45. They're pretty decent, but I'm not going to sulk If I lose them. For work (house builder), I have a collection of cheaper glasses as they constantly get scratched/dirty/dropped/broken. So I'm always on the hunt for new 'daily-driver' sun glasses. These things knock it out of the park. For the price of on pair of gas station glasses, you get THREE pairs of POLARIZED glasses. NICE once. The optical clarity is much closer to a $45 glass than a $18 glass. Getting three different lens tints is fantastic. In this set the black lens has a gray tint (full sun), the red lens has a blue tint (mixed sun/shadows), and the blue lens has a yellow tint (part sun/cloudy). The frames are light, but they're flexible and not flimsy. The out side coating is a slightly rubberized and textured--this does an excellent job holding them in place while using them or storing them on my had brim. Smooth glasses frames will often fall off the back of my hat when I look up. All the glasses came with storage bags and cleaning wipes. The KALIYADI's are now easily my new favorite inexpensive glasses, I tootally recommend giving these a try.

These sunglasses come in sets of 3 which is ideal if you are one of those people who really put your sunglasses to the test. The value is reasonable considering you are getting 3 pairs and the overall quality. The best features are for sure the factory polarization which leads to a really bright clear view as well as the looks from the front. One of the negative things kind of pops out at you from the start. They stuff these glasses into a box that is really too small, so much that you can even see the box creasing and bending from it. (see picture) However, each pair is shrouded in plastic so there was no damage to any of the glasses. It's just less than idea. They also include microfiber cloths for the glasses. One downside of many sunglasses is that the polarization layer is only on the surface of the lenses. These have a matte plastic surface on the arms and frames of the glasses, and that surface tends to attract face oils like crazy. So I kind of try to religiously wipe off the oils from the frames while not wiping the lenses unless I absolutely have to. That helps them to retain that coating a bit longer. There are no spring back hinges on the arms. The looks from the rear are not as good, as they kind of look like generic budget glasses from that view. But from the front the looks are good. And these have the large square lenses that really give you good coverage in bright sunlight. One final note is that carrying cases are not included. That makes protecting the glasses a little more difficult, but I just buy some cheap cases which they also sell here in sets. CONCLUSION If they go on sale I may buy even more sets. I do think these are a nice option if this style suits you. It's classic enough that it's going to work for a lot of people. And as long as you care for them they should last decently long.

I purchased these as an alternative to my shady rays. I typically don't wear sunglasses a lot except when I'm on the water fishing where polarized lenses shine. These guys feel pretty good and are a little forgiving while wearing them. One of my biggest complaints with sunglasses are how a lot of them squeeze the temple area and that is a big negative for me. I don't have this issue with the Kaliyadi sunglasses as they feel very comfy while wearing. They have a nice selection of lens colors for just about anyone's taste. Since they come in a 3 pack you can switch them out for different looks if that's your jam. From testing them at the lake the polarized lens seem to do what they are made to do. If you are someone that loses or breaks your sunglasses then this is the deal for you because for the price of one pair of cheap sunglasses at the local store you get 3. On top of a great deal... per the cool little business/thank you card in your order they have a lifetime breakage warranty.

Summary: Can't beat the value of these, and for the price they're surprisingly robust making these glasses an easy recommendation. Detailed review: These exceeded my expectations. No, seriously. I've avoided plastic framed sunglasses for years and have preferred metal frames. This is because I dropped a lot of money on a pair of sunglasses from a big name brand that snapped in half a month after their warranty ran out. Swore I never would order plastic framed glasses again, but when I saw 3 pairs, polarized! For under USD $20 (at time of this review) ai figured at the very least I could use them for yard work or other situations where I wouldn't mind losing or damaging them. What's got me so impressed with these sunglasses is that the frame is robust and made with a decent quality plastic. The plastic is flexible enough to take most daily wear and tear without much issue. They'll definitely break if you bend them too much, but when they're about $6, if they break then You're not out too much money on them. The plastic has a nice feel to it, too. Has a texture that promotes grip without being a nuisance. The lenses work and are as pictured, though the silver lense was more black than silver.

Absolutely love the sunglasses. Over the years I’ve paid hundreds of dollars for a pair to as little as five dollars a pair and these sunglasses probably have some of the best fit I’ve ever had. I love the fact that I have three pair of them. Polarization works like a charm They are flexible lightweight and I would highly recommend and I don’t hand out five stars like candy. They’re worth it take a chance on these, you’ll be glad you did. They are quality priced right there for great value.
