The only downside (no longer present) is that I detected a perfume-like odor during the 24-hour period after removing from the packaging. I am VERY sensitive to odors, so I had sinus irritation from it. I'm guessing this odor was from the process of cleaning the feathers. After the recommended 24-hour air/fluff time and inserting it into the duvet cover, the odor dissipated. ... show more
