  • Solid metal saddles work very well
Size: Upgraded Version Color: 10.5mm with Nickel Screws
Solid metal saddles for Strat-style guitars. Seem to transmit string vibration better than stamped steel saddles. They install and adjust properly.

  • Love them! Decent upgrade, looks great after polishing!
Size: Upgraded Version Color: 10.5mm with Nickel Screws
I had ordered the stainless steel set. These are milled VERY well for how small and affordable they are but they do have some micro machining marks, with some passes over 800+ grit sandpaper they're easily removed and as you get up to 1000-2000 grit you end up leaving them actually polished like chrome. The only flaw was one saddle's string slot was a tad too narrow - the slots are milled with a V shape bit and while some are wide enough for the thicker strings and most are milled perfectly I had one that needed some love with a saddle/nut file. Once I got them as shiny as I wanted I went to install them in my guitar and found I needed longer screws - those of you with traditional S-type bridges would probably be fine. The screws are M3 with 0.5mm pitch should anyone need to change the screws. So armed with new M3x25mm 0.5mm pictch screws my new 52mm stainless steel saddles went straight onto my Peavey T-60 guitar and look pretty close to stock. Anyone with a T-60 knows that harder saddles like these are a big upgrade and they were! Switching to stainless frets made my guitar slightly brighter and my stainless saddles added even more brightness - especially compared to my original saddles where the strings had worn through the chrome plating. ... show more

  • Bright and shiny
Size: Upgraded Version Color: 10.5mm with Nickel Screws
These are a nice replacement for pot metal or zinc cast pieces. I feel like they are brighter in tone but ymmv.

  • Dimensionally perfect, but could use more polishing.
Size: Upgraded Version Color: 10.8mm with Black Screws
These are nice and heavy, compared to the Fender 'toboggan' type saddles on my Telecaster. The GDT (geometric dimensioning and tolerance) is a perfect match size-wise for both my Telecaster and Stratocaster, and the black height adjusters, springs, and intonation adjustment screws are nice looking, compared to the chrome OEM parts. The string slots are precisely milled and polished, and that's an improvement for stability over the OEM parts, which rely on tension to keep the strings in place. The only reason I didn't give these 5 stars, is due to the finish, milling, and edge-break on the topside of the saddles. Aesthetically, the matte finish stainless steel doesn't quite match the chrome bridge plate on my Telecaster (or 70's reissue Strat), but I don't mind that so much, because I'm getting a bit more sustain out of these, and with my already thin-sounding Tele, it makes a slight difference. The milling on the topside is a little rough on close inspection, but the main issue I had is with the slightly sharp edges on the top corners. It's not an issue with 1st through 5th strings, but where it meets the meat of my right palm at the 6th (lowest) string, it chafed quite a bit. I'm glad that I noticed it before installing them, though. I was able to take a smooth rat-tail file and just break the edges for comfort. Overall, these are quality saddles. They installed easily (as expected), and the height/intonation setup was a breeze. *Note: an Allen wrench is included in the kit for height adjustment. ... show more

  • Quality control issues
Size: Normal Style Color: 10.5mm with Nickel Screws
5 out of 6 of the saddles were functional. One saddle had the intonation screw threads drilled sideways & crooked. But the real disappointing part was that all 6 of the saddles had major dings & dents. The damage did not occur in shipping. It was obvious the parts were polished/tumbled or whatever, with those big dents & dings in the metal. It's like they didn't care when they were making them. And they were all filthy with black soot all over them. It's a shame because Amazon really pushes the Kaish brand. And so far it seems like they don't care at all about the quality of their products. Definitely not buying Kaish products again. ... show more

  • Made in Korea.
Size: Upgraded Version Color: 10.5mm with Nickel Screws
Very good quality. Made in Korea. These are machined (not cast) and are really nice. No burrs or sharp edges.

  • Looks nice, no more corrosion or bridge wear
Size: Normal Style Color: 10.5mm with Nickel Screws
I bought these to replace the standard Fender nickel saddles on my Telecaster. The old ones were worn to the point where strings were breaking from digging and creating sharp contact points. I'm glad I went with these. They look nice and clean, and I won't need to worry about the finish getting hazy, corroded or wear from the strings digging in as with nickel finishes. I don't notice any change in tone really from nickel, MAYBE a little more treble? I'd have to do a side by side test. My big worry was if I'd break guitar strings since it's a harder surface (I've heard metal nuts will do that), but I have used my Tele for several gigs and rehearsals with no issues. They're a winner. ... show more

  • Fits Ibanez RG
Size: Upgraded Version Color: 10.5mm with Nickel Screws
If you have an Ibanez with a generic hardtail bridge, this is an awesome upgrade. The 10.5mm spacing fits this Ibanez really well. Right off the bat, I already got more sustain. This is the upgraded/updated version and they are definitely rounded off and smooth. Compared to vintage strat saddles, these will not scuff your palm. ... show more
