Summary: Decent grab handle; liked the low-profile rubber grip. Not sure how long stitching will last. My previous grab handles (bought from Amazon) had a very large foam cushion as the handle. This was big and obtrusive and seemed cheaper, so I wanted a lower-profile rubber handle. This one fit the bill. Installation was easy enough, once I figured out which was was best to minimize the velcro strap being visible. This one has a middle strap to secure, where the old one didn't, and so seems more likely to stay in place without shifting and to be more secure when being pulled on. So, fit and form seem to be just fine. The only hesitation I have is that the grab strap seems a little thin, and maybe not enough thread for long term use. I've only had it for a month or so, with no issues, but this is my observation. I'll post back after several more months or if something does fail in the meantime. Otherwise, as is right now, I've had no issues and it's easily worth 4 stars, especially for the price. Quality of Materials: * No issues,so far. All velcro tightened up properly. Quality of Fabrication: * Again, no issues. Time will tell if there will be stitching problems. Ease of Installation: * Took all of 2 minutes per side, even as I reversed the layout to minimize the strap visibility. Suitability for Purpose: * I've used it on both sides, and it's been able to support my weight (230 lbs) with no uncertainty. Low-profile, and looks good too.. Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4 door 2015. These are wonderful handle bars and since my wife is 5'2'' these help with her getting in and out of the car with ease. They support my weight completely (that's an accomplishment) and barely budge. If your a new Jeeper then realize you'll need to take the top off to get these on since the bar is so close to the roofing. Not really a problem, took max 5min getting them on and tightened. The handles are heavy duty rubber and have a metal bar in the nylon that runs through the fabric to evenly distribute the weight. This was important since they will last longer, hold more, and won't tare as easily at the seam. I liked that they were solid black as my interior was black and it matched the Anvil color that I had chosen as my model color. Overall a great buy for an amazing price. I will update if they for whatever reason break. Side note and only con (not the handles fault) It's very hard to have these in back since the sound bar (standard non-Apline addition) sits where one would use these as a practical way to get into the car. They're rather useless in back unless it's for an O.S. handle during off roading or just a regular handle bar for others to hold onto while driving. ... show more

    • worked great for a while but the heat in Arizona shredded them in a shorter time than expected
I liked the product other than it did not last as long as expected. A pull strap that leaves you on your ass is not a great piece. Arizona heat eats those straps in no time

I ordered two pairs of these for my Sport Unlimited. For the front, I would give these five stars. If you have the top off, these are extremely easy to install. If you don't have the top off installing them takes a little more effort. they provide you with a convenient and comfortable place to hold on while riding. My 90 year old grandmother loves to go for rides in the Jeep and they really help her swing in. For the back, I would give these two stars. When you have the hard top on, these can be installed like the front with no issues. But when you have the soft top on, these cant be installed because there is not enough room between the speaker and the screw that holds the soft top framework in place. ... show more
