This shoe is SO COMFORTABLE and it's perfect for my picky 8 yr. old daughter with Autism who wears a size 13.5. The back of the shoe (back side as well) has a thick padding which will prevent heel blisters. If your child has an extra wide foot like mine... these are the shoes that you should be getting. My daughter's foot just slipped in easily. Since there is no in-between sizes (13.5), I thought it would be safe to get her a size 1 instead. Her foot measures almost 8 inches and the size 1 has about an inch gap... which is fine since she can wear them when her foot grows bigger. I just reordered for a size 13. They might be either just right or slightly bigger which is good. If your child is in-between sizes like my own kid, I would order a half size down. 8 yrs. old Foot measures slightly under 8" Wears shoe size 13.5 Size 1 shoe from this brand has 1" gap (too big) Size 13 just ordered and will update the fit Very comfortable (perfect for long walks, playing, etc.) Thick padding in back of shoe (prevent heel blisters) Perfect for children with wide to extra wide feet Well made Super cute (ordered the unicorn) *******UPDATE: Size 13 came in and they are PERFECT! There is a teeny bit of room left which I wanted since no one wants their big toe flush with the front of the shoe. Happy mama, happy child.

These shoes are adorable!. I purchased them for my great grand daughter and she is every bit a girly girl who's favorite color is pink! She is quite young at 20 months old but she knows cute shoes when she sees them. They slip on so easily with no ties to tie and they are very well made!

My 8 year old gave me the thumbs up to purchase these for her to wear to a tea party. She is very satisfied because they are easy to put on. The colors fit her playful personality! She wants to wear them everyday. They are more durable than I expected. She plays in them and they are easy for me to hand wash. I would buy these again. She is always getting compliments and people ask us where did we find these shoes.
